Something must be wrong with my settings or...????

On the picture icon I ONLY get ONE option: "insert link" nothing else. Also when I take a screenshot ( like you do) it will NOT cut and paste I get shit like this

this change worked... the only one . I state again when I click the image icon the only thing I get is " insert". There is NO little arrow pointing up ( for attach). Only other thing is the icon for a link.

It's been six months now. Why has this not been resolved? If there's one complaint I have about the new forum it's probably that one thing...

And appartently nobody else cares! If they do, they certainly don't seem interested in fixing it. I've never even received any response as to why it's happening or what - if anything - might be getting done to remedy it.

Yes, I'm frustrated. There seems no rhyme or reason to it, no way to predict when it'll happen but it seems the longer you're on, the more likelihood it's going to occur. And the only solution is to leave the forum and come back in, which is a pain that never happened previously.

That happens to me with some frequency. I just refresh the page and it’s fixed. I don’t think you need to exit all the way out and come back.

Some kind of timing thing. Sometimes if somebody posts while you're typing for example.

As to what you’ll lose, I usually lose the last bit of a post. Most of the text is still there. If this is a big concern, maybe copy before you refresh and then you could paste it?

That's been going on for a while, until you click on a thread it doesn't acknowledge you're logged in.

Okay, maybe I'm being obtuse about all this, but if you save a draft, how do you restore it? I just saved a long post as a draft and had to refresh, and now I've lost 75% of it. I should have copied a it to do a paste later, but if this draft thing is going to save me from losing stuff on the phone, then I need to know how to make it work.

hi i can't say how it works on phones but, if it's the same as on my pc you click on the 3 vertical dots between the 'undo' icon and the 'preview' icon top right of the reply box. This gives a set of 3 further icons and it's the last one which is the drafts. Click on it and it gives you the option to save or delete.

OK... once it's saved (and a green dot keeps popping up on it as i type so i think it autosaves but the manual option is there), you can leave the page, refresh, whatever. Then, when you return to the dialogue box it either shows up in there already, or in some instances a notice pops up saying 'you have a saved draft, do you want to...'

I'm thinking this might be a whole lot quicker and more easily visible on a desktop screen than a small phone one

Here's what I've got between the undo and the preview. It allows "save" or "delete" draft. I hit "save" before I refreshed earlier, and I still lost most of what I'd typed prior to hitting "save."

What browser is that: it is not mine, you can refresh any page by dragging it down pulling the top of the page below the top of the screen: soory best i can do description wise.

This latest all-over update on the site was supposedly to make things more phone compatible, but this "Oops" crap is SO screwing that up. I don't know what other problems the Powers might be trying to fix yet, six months down the road, but this one is proving to make the phone changeover really frustrating

1. Press & hold on the first word of what you want to copy until it’s highlighted blue
2. Without picking your finger up drag across all of what you want to copy
3. When you are finished, pick your finger up and you should see options to Copy and also to Quote or Reply
4. Click where you want to put the text
5. Press the same spot again gently & you’ll see an option to paste
