Hmm....sounds like you are trying to give me the hook, line and sink her with that one.![]()
I would never claim she has a sink hole. I just want to make sure her cup runneth over.
Dare I ask what you're filling her cup with, Chainey?I would never claim she has a sink hole. I just want to make sure her cup runneth over.
Based on the number of views this page gets, and the number of voters in the poll, we have a fair share of lurkers here. What did it take for you to move from lurker to poster? (In general, not on this thread)
This morning's topic: does your Lit personality match your real life personality? What would the conversation between an RL friend and a Lit friend go when they talk about you?

The comfort to not be flamed for being a "newbie" and having something worth while to contribute.

Subscribe or not subscribe, that is the question.
I find after about6 or so subscriptions it gets overwhelming.

Do people really subscribe to that many threads or do they wait to see them come back to page 1? I find after about6 or so subscriptions it gets overwhelming. The only time I really use them is to go to threads outside of the PG because, yes I am that lazy and won't surf my way there.
I subscribe. I know certain threads have off hours than I keep, and if I have to search beyond the first page, I get annoyed. If I have to look for Litiquette on page 2, then I'm annoyed.![]()
I never twiddled with the settings so I'm automatically subscribed to every thread I post on. I can't remember the last time I went and looked at that list.
There is one thread that I have an email alert on but that's the exception rather than the rule (and it is a sort of unusual circumstance.)
