Lords and Ladies of the Realm

Siren noticed Lady Dorynan ride by at a swift speed. Hurrying to her horse she jumped on determined to follow her and explain to her the reason she was here and everything else that might be of importance.

Lady Dorynan

As they crested the last hill top, there on the top of a mountain was one of the largest most intimidating castles she'd ever seen. Impenetrable. Thats how Lord Remy had described it.

Everyone was excited and anxious. The pace picked up on everyone's part. They were indeed very anxious to reach the castle, to be able to eat well, be warm, and rest. Before the second half of their journey began.

Upon arriving at the gates, they found the drawbridge up, the portcullis down and guards above standing in the parapets.

"I thought i ordered a group to come ahead and announce us." Lady Dorynan questioned those around her.

"You did." stated Quinlan as if he knew all.

"Then where are they, and why have these guards got their weapons trained upon us?" Lady Dorynan backed her warhorse up and got a good look at the walls of this formidable stone structure. "This doesn't bode well."

Lady Dorynan looked around. She expected Lord Remy to do something. He should've been right near her. But he wasn't. "Where is Drakkar?" The whole group began searching the lands and woods around them....the word passed like dominoes back through the throng of soldiers that Lord Drakkar Remy was needed....There was no response.

Lokken looked down at the slight chaos below. He sent his dragon into a dive and landed by Lady Dorynan. "Mi'Lady, what is te cause of this confusion?" he asked gently.

With Stark and Nightwolf at her side, Lilly comprised the plan. Opening her mind, she looked for the child within the bowels of the Dark Lords fortress and found her in the dungions below the earth. opening a portal to the girl and getting her out would be easy enough, escaping would be the biggest problem. Taking a deep breath, Lilly opened the portal and stepped through. Yelena was sleeping restlessly on the dirt floor and Lilly was quick to scoop the child up into her arms and duck back through the portal to the waiting Nightwolf and Starke. Some where in the back of her might she could hear the Dark Lord laughing.

Lord Remy

As the chaos with the guards and the group was transpiring, I was inside readying things, I wasn't aware that the rest of the group would arrive so quickly, they had made far better time than expected for the people that were in the group.

I heard the hustle and bustle outside and made my way to the castle wall as quickly as possible. When I made it up the last flight of stairs into the turrets where my Seargent, Byron, was stationed. He informed me of the situation, "There is a large group outside the walls, ready for battle it seems." When I looked out and saw Dory I was immediately relieved, I hoped it was them, but I didn't want my men to let in any large group that come this way.

I informed Byron of who it was, and he immediately began to apologize, "I'm sorry Mi'Lord, how stupid of me." I gently consoled him, "Quite the contrary, how wise of you, we can't be too careful in these times. You did exactly as I instructed, protect the castle, but don't attack first. You should be commended." With that I gave the order to open the gates and for all the men to stand down, there were our guests. I made my way down from the tower and greeted my guests as they came through the gates, "Welcome to Golgoth, all that is mine is yours as well. Anything you need or desire is at your disposal, enjoy and rest well, for we have a mighty journey ahead." With that I helped Dory down from her mount and instructed my servants to tend to the horses and take care of everyone's things and see each person to a room. I then took everyone into the main hall, it was a long wide hall filled with statues, and art collected from my many quests, there were battle suits from the many different armies I'd faced, and beautiful sculptures and carvings of the many mythical creatures of the lands I'd been to. But most powerful part of the room was the large gothic ceilings with stained glass insets that lined the roof, making it like walking in a rainbow on sunny days. There were many ornate designs, each flowing into the next, making a steady progression from one end of the room to the next. As the group stared around the room, taking in all the sights, I instructed my servants to make the final preperations for dinner. We then moved into the main dining hall. Within was a large oak table, lined with carvings down all four sides, the top was well worn from many feasts past, celebrating great conquests and glorious weddings, as well as good harvests. I had the servants seat everyone accordingly in the tall backed chairs. I sat at the head of the table and welcomed all my guests and thanked them for joining with me at my table. With that I had the servants begin to bring out the food.

"May I ask a question of you, Lord Remy? You wouldn't happen to be able to jump planes and dimensions, would you?" asked Lokken quriosly.

Lord Remy

I am known to have many powers. The full extent of them cannot be revealed yet, but I do have the ability to teleport, however in this case I just rode my horse at a faster pace, and have left earlier in order to arrive ahead of the group.

NightWolf...

Waits patiently beside Lady Moonlight...awaiting her instructions...the wound in his side painful but not hindering...

Lady Dorynan

OOC: Sorry I've been so lax in posting, Real life has a way of getting in the way. But im back now. Hopefully with everyones help the pace will pick back up. Thanks.

IC:

Lady Dorynan unclasped her cape and tossed it over a bench in the large inner room. She stared in wonder up at the ceilings and the surrounding intricacies of the room.

"Things have changed." she whispered to herself.

"Indeed they have." Lord Remy whispered back standing at her side.

She looked at him seeing something different about his eyes, his whole demeanor even. She dismissed it mentally knowing she was not at the moment up to any detailed analyzing.

"May I?" she asked Drakkar.

Knowing she wanted to wander around and just take things in for her own peace of mind Drakkar nodded.

At that she turned and began up a large winding stone staircase. The details were incredibily beautiful yet daunting....

Moonlight

They were free of the Dark Lords hold and back in the clearing at the bottom of the cliff. Time was short and every second vital.

"Quickly Nightwolf, Take the child on Starks back, he will fly you out of here, i will try and keep them busy here, open a portal at your first opertunity and take them to my sisters home, i will follow as quickly as i can."

Lifting my arms high, i transformed back into the pheonix, and took to the air. The battle had not yet begun.

"Hmmm. So you can jump dimesions. I need a little help there myself. I've been trying to learn it alone for 1000 years, but just can't seem to get it right. And nobody ever will teach me! I hired the best man I could for the job, but I always end up injured after he transports me!" exclaimed Lokken angrily, his hands imitating what he would do to the sorceror if only he knew how to jump.

A blue robed wizard appered next to lokken. At a closer look he seemed to glow with a light blue color.By the raggedness of his robes he must have seen many battles. His name is sorian. He pulls a staff from his robe and leaned on it but he dosen't seem that old(even in human standards)"I am looking for the lady dorynan."He said in a voice that sounded thrilling to the ears and chilling t the heart.

Lord NightWolf

Aye, that I will, M'Lady. Then, I shall return to fight at your side. If I am to die, then perhaps, today is a good day to die.

*takes the child into his arms, and leaps onto the dragons back*

Let us fly like the wind, for I shall not fail her!!

Moonlight

Moonlight watched as the ones she loved flew towards the distant horizon. In the wind she could hear the growl of an angry dragon, and the great black beast took the the air. Raising her firey wings, she thrust fire ball anter fire ball at the beast, then flew directly into it's path. They needed time, as much as she could give them.

NightWolf

*After we were safely away from the field of battle, I open a portal as instructed, setting my troopers in their watches, along with faerie scouts to conjure up their glamours...I then turn to the dragon*

Come Stark, we return the same way we arrived, through the portal. Can you make the perilous journey once more?

*opening a portal to the field where we left Lady Moonlight...Seeing the fierce battle*

If you cannot, tell me now, and I will go alone.

*Holding his side lightly, as the wound yet weeps and draws tighter as it heals*

Lady Dorynan

As she explored the upper rooms she heard a faint whisper. It sounded like her name but she dismissed it.

She walked into a large bedroom. Rich dark blue velvets and shimmering golds adorned the room. A large masculine cherrywood banistered bed sat directly in the center. A fireplace to the right stood almost as high as herself. The warmth in this room belied the rest of the huge stronghold. She realized this was Drakkar's room. She wanted to immediately go through his things...the curiosity was intense.

Again the insistent whisper in her head sounded. It was her name being called. "Auntie Ryn..." The voice was that of Brodhan. The child was coming into his powers. It was only 2 moons from their 6th birthdays. "Auntie Ryn it hurts." The voice became clearer as Dorynan closed her eyes and zeroed in on the source. She turned slowly around the room until she decided which direction it came through with strength. "I'm coming Brody. I swear it." she sent her message to him on the waves that others said were the mind waves of a witch. She'd almost been hung for using that skill in her youth.

"Dory! A man by the name of Sorian is here to see you!" Drakkar's stern voice jarred her from her trance.

"Why are you shouting at me?" she asked irritated

"Because I've been speaking to you for moments now, you wouldn't answer. It was as if you were asleep. What is wrong?"

"Did you say Sorian?" she asked the name now dawning on her.

"Yes but Dory you.." he was cut off as she ran past him down the staircase. As she reached the bottom there he stood, looking ragged.

"my lady" he said bowing low. "I have searched hi and low for you and am pleased that i have finnally found you"He said as he stood straight and to his full posture. He looked like he had royal blood in him.

Lady Dorynan

Lady Dorynan watched him uneasily. "Sorian why have you come here?"

Her tone was cautious. She had heard of him but did not know really who he was.

" i have come for i heared that there was danger here and that you had some part in it. But not that you caused it mind you." he said smiling.i have heard rumors of what has happened but will need your account of it if i am to help in any way.and so i have answered your outspoken question.I am her to help you and all those who you trust."he said as he smiled. "I will answer your other question. I'm a wizard.I usually don't meddle in affairs like these but there is something about you yhat intriges me. I have no home land and travel all my life.I help those who are worth helping."At this comment he laughs "not many of those now"
he sais as he goes back to leaning on his staff."i am weary. may we sit down and talk somewhere?"He asks

Stark Wyrmsbane

Stark looked at the wolf Lord, and his eyes glowed with fury. "The child is safe now, in their demesne. Ancaleg, the rogue dragon, is mine." With a mighty roar, the dragon sailed back through the portal, arrowing straight for the huge black dragon.

"Ancaleg! By the authority of the Council of Wyrms, you have been pronounced outlaw, outcast and a death penalty upon your head. Sentence to be carried out immediately!"

Moonlight

Moomlights heart leapt as Stark and Nightwolf reapeared through the portal. She was thrilled to see them back, just to see them, but scared for their safety. She knew Stark had the right to chalange the rogue dragon, and she would have to leave him to the chalange, but she didn't like doing it.

Returning to the ground, she transformed bacj into her human form and collapsed exhausted beside Nightwolf. She knew she could trust him to care for her tired body.

In the skies over head, a battle was about to take place, a battle to the death.

Lady Dorynan

As they sat in Drakkars Mens Study, Dorynan quickly recounted the events up to the present. When she was finished she looked at him. "Now how is it you intend to help me? My one true purpose is the get to my nephew before Rohbodahn decides to kill him. I had a vision tonight. I know that he is still alive. I will move in two nights."

"My lady, my purpose here has yet to be determined. I do not make those decisions, but I respond when the time comes." replied Sorian

"Well then, this conversation should be concluded until another time." Dorynan stood up and quit the room.

Sorian

"My Lady" Sorian called after her "If you are to leave in two days then i would ask your leave to accompany you."he said in a concerned tone."And that i may leave until then."

Lady Dorynan

"You have your leave." she shouted over her shoulder. "Be here in two days M'lord. No sooner No later. And come prepared to do battle."
