Interesting comparison, but there’s a difference. Talk of annexing Canada or Greenland mostly comes from the U.S. president and a few diehards—more bluster than belief. Wishing for a U.S. civil war feels like cheering for real suffering. Not quite the same energy. Silly, isn’t it?Just a slight detour, here's a little advertisement, haha.
If I tell you that many netizens in mainland China are eager to see California secede or a second civil war in the United States, can you also understand that this is similar to how American netizens feel about the annexation of Canada or Greenland?
Or at very least an obligation to honour the manifesto on which they were elected and the electorate has the power to force a referendum on any contentious decisions. So the only form of democracy you acknowledge is a direct democracy.
Got it![]()
There are obligations of that sort. The enforces of those are the people.Or at very least an obligation to honour the manifesto on which they were elected and the electorate has the power to force a referendum on any contentious decisions.
Are you, a trump trumpeter, reallly saying that. A couple of days ago you claimed ‘pubs had one bad day in DC.So what you and your leftist posse propose is that law enforcement should be picking and choosing where to enforce the law based on how people will react and not based on criminal violations or criminal statutes.
Why is it that the left insist on normalizing civil disobedience?
You're dumb and weird.Really? That's your response?...youre weird and dumb? And you're probably still sucking on mommies boob. Buffalogurl is spot on. You're just being facetious and immature.
So, in your completely irrelevant opinion, parliamentary democracy is not legitimised?Faux democratic institutions are very much part of the Neo-Soviets modus operandi, the EU parliament being a prime example where the MEPs the electorate vote for don't even have the power to table any legislation, and the gullibles that support this nonsense have the temerity to claim that Brexiteers "didn't know what they were voting for"![]()
to be fair, according to this link, they did depend upon e-verify and were confused when they were raided as they believed they'd done everything by the book. They were told that the e-verify system is 'broken'.
Nah, but it DID spread to Omaha, Nebraska…:

75-80 undocumented migrants detained at a meat packing plant. The employer pleaded ignorance, of course. He blamed “e-verify”.
Oops…
We. Told. Them. So.

Chad Hartmann, president of the food packaging company, said the front office was stunned by the aggressive nature of federal officials’ raid and confused by why the company was targeted.
“My biggest issue is: Why us?” Hartmann said. “We do everything by the book.”
The plant uses E-Verify, the federal database used to check the immigration status of employees. When he said as much to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who carried out the raid, they told him the E-Verify system “is broken.”
“I mean, what am I supposed to do with that?” Hartmann said. “This is your system, run by the government. And you’re raiding me because your system is broken?”
Stupid gestapo ICE field personnel don't know if e-verify is broken. Grounds for firing and jail time it turns out he was lying.to be fair, according to this link, they did depend upon e-verify and were confused when they were raided as they believed they'd done everything by the book. indeed... imagine the issues all those meat, fruit&vegetable packing plants will face, impacting supply chains nationwide, impacting prices., impacting companies, workers and consumers alike.Yeah, I know. Convenient…
Regardless, my primary point was really about this being a national issue that will negatively affect all states and businesses (negatively affect the economy & established social / community structure).

The e verify system was never working.to be fair, according to this link, they did depend upon e-verify and were confused when they were raided as they believed they'd done everything by the book. They were told that the e-verify system is 'broken'.
Are you misunderstanding on purpose? I agree with you that burning cars, throwing rocks at cops, defacing property, breaking windows and into stores and stealing is really bad. And I hope they get all the pics and vids the need to arrest and convict the perpetrators. And I agree those are not minor acts.WHAT??? Minor??? I watched it live! It wasn't minor.
Throwing rocks at police cars driving by could legitimately be charged as high as attempted murder.
The thrust of the violent protests was centered on law enforcement, nothing minor about that.
So what you and your leftist posse propose is that law enforcement should be picking and choosing where to enforce the law based on how people will react and not based on criminal violations or criminal statutes.

During the BLM riots the majority of protesters during the day were peaceful and at night the protest turned into riots, became uncontrollable. I know you think you can quantify people and their actions but you can't!. Even though a majority of people peacefully protesting it doesn't equate to less collateral damage. 2 billion dollars worth of damage and hundreds of small businesses were destroyed and several people killed. Large crowds afford cover for violence. Many protesters getting in the face of law enforcement should not be classified as peaceful. Taunting law enforcement is not peaceful. If 5,000 people peacefully protest and the city burns to the ground then those 5,000 aided their own demise. How many immigration enforcement actions in California were falsely categorized by lying media, described as innocent migrants being falsely detained when in reality convicted criminals were rounded up on criminal warrants. The lie spreads and riots happen. Are you misunderstanding on purpose? I agree with you that burning cars, throwing rocks at cops, defacing property, breaking windows and into stores and stealing is really bad. And I hope they get all the pics and vids the need to arrest and convict the perpetrators. And I agree those are not minor acts.
But my use of minor, which you took out of context, because that’s your MO, was about scale. As in many, many more peaceful protesters than those basically rioting.
Some of you want to blame Hillary Clinton for his death.
You don't care beyond that.
I don't support that arrangement, but there is nothing "Neo-Soviet" about it, nothing at all.Faux democratic institutions are very much part of the Neo-Soviets modus operandi, the EU parliament being a prime example where the MEPs the electorate vote for don't even have the power to table any legislation, and the gullibles that support this nonsense have the temerity to claim that Brexiteers "didn't know what they were voting for"![]()
Because there is no reason to.I am not invested in Hillary Clinton. But why then is the young man's assassination not being more deeply investigated?
It was fled as such. The investigation concluded that.I am not invested in Hillary Clinton. But why then is the young man's assassination not being more deeply investigated?
The DC cops want to dismiss this as an attempted robbery.
The foia wasn't about his death, but about his records. He worked for the government and therefore those records may be classified. The FBI however refuses to release the case files which is odd since this was just an attempted robbery, right?

Civil disobedience has been normalized at least since the 1960s. Didn't you get the memo? Why is it that the left insist on normalizing civil disobedience?
