LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete

Jessica looked back, as Hiro was standing behind her. She stood before him, unmoving and unwilling to allow the Magic Emperor a shot at him.

"Ghaleon, so I swear I will rip you apart if you touch this man! With or without my friends!" she yelled harshly at the Magic Emperor. In truth, it was not something Jessica had wanted to do. As a child she had loved Ghaleon more than her own father; she was infatuated with his monotone speaking voice and his pale complexion. He was the subject of her 'childhood crush', still to the current day.

First, I want your evil to no longer plauge the land of Lunar! My soul shall not rest until your vile evil has been cleansed from the land...

*Nash pointed two fingers at Hiro, he was not too awfully close to Jess now, and he had that sword which could improve the chance the attack would hit him. Nash sent a large thunder bolt surging through Hiros body, he then held his helemt, it was vibrating way too much for him to hang on, before he casted a teleportation spell on himself, Nash stated.*

By the way, you should check up n Nash, he too tried to stop me... he should be in his room...

*And with that, he was gone*

"May the Goddess curse you for what you have done to our lands!" Jessica called out as she turned to assist Hiro by the disappearance of the Magic Emperor. She healed him quickly.

Hiro

He was stunned by that blast. He didn't recieve much in the way of damage; after all, he took on and defeated the Star Dragon all by himself. He had recieved much worse than that.

"Ugh... let's check up on Nash. I may not like him too much, but I don't hate him of wish him dead."

Jessica nodded, leading Hiro to Nash's personal quaters. She knocked respectfully on his door.

"I hope nothing has happened to him..." she spoke in a concerned voice.

*Nash was now in his room, all blackened and hurt, he had hit himself with his own thunderbolt spell, just to make it look like he got his butt kicked. Nash walked weakly to the door, the attack really did hurt him alot, and the magic armor was nowhere to be found. Nash opened the door weakly, smiling at seeing Jess there.*

Glad...you...made..it...

*Then Nash collapsed.*

Hiro

As they waited for an answer from Nash, Hiro began to think things over in his head. He knew that Ghaleon was not a merciful man in combat, yet he didn't want to fight Jessica. The other thing he knew about Ghaleon was that he didn't use lightening as an attack.

"Maybe he just never got around to using it on us," he said more to himself.

Then Nash opened the door and collasped.

"Oh shit!"

He looked at Nash's bruised and battered body. He then kneeled down next to him, "Come on man, say something... anything."

"Goddess! Nash, are you alright?" Jessica asked as she kneeled next to the boy, calling upon Althena's power to heal Nash.

"Did Ghaleon get to you?" she asked, concerned.

*Nash slowly reopened his eyes, the first thing he saw being Jessica, a smile crossed his face. Nash heard Jessies question and nodded.*

Yea, he's got a lot more powerful magic now, thunder spells, my spells were useless against him...I tried to stop him, but nothing worked on him, not even my petrify spell!

*Nash coughed, although he was healed, he still got fryed like chicken*

"...We have to kill that bastard again. I didn't think he'd ever be back..."

Jessica's attention seemed to drift a bit.

"We should probably get everyone to help us. I should go get Mia right now..."

Hiro

Something didn't feel right about this. But he didn't want to doubt the words of one of the Five Heroes.

"Do you know why he is back? Why he would attack you? And do you know where he might have gone to?"

He didn't hate Nask, only partially disliked him for the insults that he said earlier.

He said something about wanting to kill you, then his soul could rest...

*Nash looked over to him, beginning to stand up again, Nash didn't particularly like Jessicas comments about Ghaleon. He turned to her for a moment.*

Why should we defeat him again Jess? All he wants is this guy, and then he'll leave Lunar alone, it's bad enough I had to kill Ghaleon once, please Jess, don't make me do it again.

*Nash's eyes filled with tears, he never wanted to imagine fighting Ghaleon and being responsible for his death twice in a row, even if this was just a ruse.*

"...Listen, Nash... I liked Ghaleon just as much as you back before anything about the Magic Emperor came about. Just...in a different light. But we have to face it; Ghaleon is evil. He captured Luna, tried to kill all of us, as well as LUNAR! How can you forgive him of that?" she questioned.

"To my knowledge, this man has done nothing of which he needs to be killed for. Nash, you have to listen to reason..."

Hiro

"What I don't understand is why he would want me. I won't be born for awhile (a long while). How would he know about me now??? I won't meet him for the first time till a long time from now. He was revived by Zophar later, but how did he come back now?"

He was very puzzled and very worried by these strange turn of events.

*Nash was suprised at so many comments and questions at once, he walked over to his window, placing a palm on the glass and looking down.*

Jess, I'm sorry, but if you're going after Ghaleon, I don't want any part in it... forgive me...

Hiro

He didn't blame Nash for his feelings. He had read once that Nash came from horrible poverty. He would have died alone in the streets if it wasn't for Ghaleon. He took him in, gave him food, shelter, clothing, and an education. The man, for all his insane ideas, was the perfect dad to Nash.

"I don't think of you as a coward Nash. I'll find Ghaleon by myself if necessary. I believe that only he can return me home."

"...Fine then. I shall go after him myself."

Jessica tried to sound secure in her decision, but she knew that Ghaleon would easily overpower her. She had no doubt in her mind that he was now even more powerful than before, but she couldn't force Nash to harm his hero.

Hiro

"I am going with you. No one should face him alone. I have fought worst demons than him by myself, but he is more cunning than they are." He then turned to Nash, "Are you sure you have no clue where he might have gone?"

No idea, he just left without saying a word...

*Nash continued to look down, he couldn't believe he was lying to his friends, but he had responsibilities now, he was going to help Ghaelon get rid of this "Hiro" guy, because evil or not, Ghaleon was not a liar. Nobody actually had the brains to ask him "are you the magic emporer" however. People these days were just plain dumb..*

Hiro

"Ok, shall we go then Jessica. I don't know the territory well enough, or where there are any inns."

He wanted to get out of there in a hurry. He had something important to tell her.

Jessica looked from Hiro to Nash, thoughts flooding her own mind. She, like Nash, never wanted to have to face Ghaleon again.

Jessica could still remember the final battle. She was towards the back, keeping her friends from falling in battle as Nash and Mia shot off their own spells and Alex and Kyle attacked Ghaleon head-on.

Ghaleon had fallen to his knees, and Alex rose his sword above his head to finish the Magic Emperor for good. Jessica remembered Nash screaming out in final protest, claiming that they had no reason to kill him. He brought up points of Ghaleon's talents and use to the world... He promised that Ghaleon could change.

Alex did not listen to Nash. He lifted his sword higher up. Then Jessica got involved.

"Alex...don't. For the sake of Nash, don't kill Ghaleon..." It was at this time that Kyle stepped forward and physically made Jessica and Nash stay back as Alex finished off the Magic Emperor. The rememberance of it made Jessica visably shiver.

*Nash turned to Jessica, a small smile on his face, it was obvious that the magician was trying to hold back his tears, remembering that same day.*

Jessica, go with Hiro, I'll give you my help, but I need to get prepared first... could I have some time alone?

"Of course, Nash..."

Jessica turned to Hiro. "Let's get out of here..."

With that, Jessica left the room, walking outside of the Magic Guild Headquaters along the streets of Vane.

"It just doesn't make sense..." she thought out loud.

*This was Nash's chance, carefully, Nash walked into his closet, and there he saw the armor. quickly placing it on again, he knew where the two would appear, at the inn, and that was when he would make his attack.*

Hiro

"I know." He knew what he was about to say next might make his stay in the past a lot more lonely. "I don't think we can trust Nash too much."

Jessica began to protest. "I know that he is your friend, and I'm not saying he has done anything wrong, it's just that I have this gut feeling. Don't ask me to explain it, I will when we get to an inn. Just trust me... I know we haven't know one another for long, but please... trust me."
