My Vol's need more than a week off I'm afraid ...to prepare for Bama....but Spurrier got beat....by Kentucky....which makes my day...and I think the Hubby said the Gators went down too. Georgia won big tho. Ahhh..***** in the SEC, eh?

I just wanna update my freinds who post here. My visit with K was AWESOME! We laughed like I knew we would. Her cousins were awesome. We got a little shopping in. I then stepped on a concrete thingy and turned my ankle. So my trip was cut short..and I drove back home. I had someone sweet to talk to on the way home which made a bad situation better. Once I got home...settled in with my ankle propped up...my throat started feeling funny and my hands n feet started itching. I knew this was an allergic reaction. So when hubby got home we went to the ER. 3.5 hours later I was full of meds, x-rays showed nothing was broken.

Earlier today I could put a little weight on my foot...but I can't now. So getting around isn't very easy. And hubby is gonna see if he can find his old crutches at the hotel his Mom owns. I will be ok in a few days.

And....K and I have decided these get-togethers should be an anual thing and we're hoping to add a few more ladies to it next year. Hopefully a few Lit ladies. And if we're lucky...a few of the Lit fellows.

So that's an update on my weekend.

Now....Y'all tell me how your weekend has been.

Friday....keeping someone company on a drive....
high school football, lost 23-17 when the other team scored with 6 seconds left. Didn't help we were hosed on several calls by the officials....

Today....a birthday party for a 4 yr old...OMG, the energy they have!
Yard work and cleaned the house....yes, ladies, I do housework.....

Tomorrow....Rams football and a BBQ for wonderful neighbors moving away....
