Hi there, papa! I'm doin good....how bout yourself?

You planning on watchin the SEC championship Saturday? Of so...who's your pick as the winner?

:rose:

I am doing good. Yes I plan on watching it even though I don't care for either team. I am much more anti-Auburn right now but I still think they will probably win. Who do you think will win, Lynn?:)

Hi Lynn
How is the ankle and foot doing?

Hi John! I hope you're staying warm!

Still walking with a slight limp...and the cold weather we're getting...I can feel it in the foot...but I'm walking, which is a good thing!

Yes that is good the weather here is darn cold been below zero many nights kind of early in the winter for that

I've been away for awhile for medical and family reasons, but thought I ought to just pop in and say hi, hope you are enjoying the holiday season. We had our first snowfall today -- a rather light sprinkle of snow, but at least snow.

Would y'all be heading to Memphis if the Vols get in the Liberty Bowl?

snow on the ground here starry, with 6 to 8 inches coming tomorrow night :D

I love it.
They were in the 30s inland & was around 45 here by the water on the coast

Sweetie THAT is why I moved here.
I came down after college in '86 & forgot to go home! :D

I just got a photo updating me on Lynnette's tussle with a stomach bug 2 days ago ... it appears the bug was more powerful than expected, and she is down... down ... down ...

This photo seems to tell the story:

(When you are finished with your insect wrestling match, just give a wave.)

I think Auburn will win. If it weren't for their coach, I'd like to see South Carolina win, but...I think Auburn has a better chance of winning the championship and that would give the SEC the championship 5 years in a row!

Happy Friday to you papadoc! :rose:

BURRRR! I was fussing with some of the guys at work yesterday about it being in the 30's....I think I'll gladly take that over anything close to zero!
We may get some snow tomorrow, but after seeing some of the video around the great lakes, I'll deal with whatever dusting we get!

I hope you're not working to hard, John...and that you have a GREAT weekend!

I hope those medical issues are only minor ones, Nor and that the family reasons are good ones!

There's been no mention of goin to our bowl game this year...and since every bowl game I've went to where Tennessee played they lost, it may be a good idea for me to stay home.

I hope the weekend treats you right! :rose:

The medical issues could be a wee bit more minor from my point of view, but the family reasons were all good. Plus I took a brief detour and went down to a taping of the David Letterman show one day recently in between doctor days; that turned into a pretty interesting day.

Sounds like you won your bug-tussle, yes?

Thankfully, I am a little bit east of the 3-foot-snow-dumps (typically a lot of that snow would have headed my way, but for some reason it stayed right in close to Buffalo). It's sunny, and while cool, barely any snow remains here.

I tossed that bug right out the window, Nor! :rose:

Question of the day:

Do you know your blood type?

My answer: I don't...and this probably isn't a good thing. I'm gonna find out next time I go for a check up.

It could be worse. You could have required so much blood that it would be on the tip of your tongue ready to spill out every time you see someone dressed in a white overcoat.

I give blood on a regular basis, with my Red Cross blood donor card, appointments all booked up, etc. They make it fairly easy these days (I get an e-mail reminder AND a phone call), which is a good thing, and the regional blood center for this part of the twin tiers is less than 4 miles from my residence. In fact, I have to go a week from tomorrow at 8:15 a.m. to give.
