Mafia Battle game thread

I haven't heard anything from [B$M] and while we might not ally with them - I still wouldn't recommend trying to take them on. They are a big gang w/many high level players.

I have been approached by [BB] for a possible alliance. They could easily take out [PEN] if I can make it happen.

I'm of the mind to say fuck [PEN]. I'm using a witness protection shield and going to bulk up some more on stats. I would suggest if you play today and get attacked by [PEN] that you do the same.

Haha! You're welcome Misha.

Fuck. [PEN] got me again this morning. INO attacked me.

I'm going Witness Protection Program and straight to the gym. Fucker.

Ha! I asked him why he attacked me, again. And he replies: "Ask Capricious."

He, INO, attacked me again after he said he wouldn't.

[PEN] can't be trusted so fuck them.

His reply: "How old r u? 5?"

Young ones. We're not supposed to play with those. ;)

Sorry took out all the witness protections from the vault but immediately put them back.

If your only goal in the game is to get to #1 and spend money to get there, I would stick to pirates.

Mafia is as good, I think, but you won't get up to the as easily as you would in Pirates, because the elite are so far up.

I don't give a rat's ass about #1 in either game. I just like to pretend I'm hurting something. :D

Serious question.

Is it worth it for me to get into Mafia Battle now?

I'm too competitive, I can't handle being a lower level.

Is it even worth it for me to spend the several hundred bucks it would take to level up and compete with people?

Because I am seriously tempted.

you don't even need to spend real money on mafia if you don't want to. you can get all the points you want on the market. you'll have a ton of money soon enough because the economy is so ridiculously inflated and you can always borrow from the vault, it has billons in it. i'm enjoying playing it and it is fun and i have that nagging feeling that pirates could go down at any moment.

I want to say that if you want to boost your stats in training than use the Shrooms or Canabis thats in the vault.

Another thing.. I put all my money and points in the vault. I'm giving the game a rest for a bit.

Great. INO attacked me again. Witness Protection here we go.

it's because abester is still getting hit in rts even though bg sent that message out.

INO's stats on a couple spy attempts I just made...

Str: ~428,000 (I think... I didn't save it, and kinda forgot while flipping pages)
Def: 421,094
Spd: 120,794
Bank: ~125 trillion

I'm not really playing mafia much because the game is too screwed up. I just go to train over there during lulls in my pirate play. That whole game is a lost cause unless they seriously readjust the economy, and even then people have gained too much to ever make it truly equitable again. That's what you get for letting a punkass snot-nosed 19 year old kid make the rules.

Great. I can only use Witness protection once every 24 hours. I guess I won't be playing Mafia today.

INO is abesters. That's why he is taking it so personally.

I guess he realized his mistake then.

Can we play hardball here?

Tell INO that unless he lays off the attacks on Mafia we will keep his entire gang in the hospital on RtS.

The two gangs aren't affiliated.

He is weak in rts.. but hella strong in MB

I know that they aren't affiliated but he is the top ranked player by level in the "its the life" gang for RtS. If we are putting every single member of his RtS gang in the hospital and we make it clear that this won't stop till Abster lays off us in Mafia then that is a lot of pressure on Abster to stop.

I have transferred leadership of the MB gang to C_C. i have also left the gang. Hopefully that wil help with the abester situation.

having a ton of money is DUE to my selling points on the market.

to that end, buying -back- points on the market is either making a small profit, cutting even, or making a loss.

it does not result in my having a bazillion points to stat up like mad and get even with pricks who kill me.

which, if i cannot do, i just know i will go insane.

witness: abester's revenge. i am glad i am not playing MB right now, because if I were, in addition to rule the seas, i am certain i would have spent 100bucks already just to kick his ass.

to that end, i am already tempted to do just that, and i'm not even playing.

i haven't spent any money, other than to become a respected mafioso. the site gives you 21 points for free everyday and if you hit the market right you can sell a few of them high right at the beginning to get into a gated mansion. training becomes simple after that, you don't even need points because you get so much out of each session. and if you decide that you really need points, there are plenty in the vault.

there are usually people undercutting on the market on a daily basis. once you have 40 billion dollars in your bank account and a gated mansion you really can buy some points in the game. and, there are usually a bunch of people with thousands of points for sale who are willing to make a deal if you message them.

you won't have to spend $100 unless you're -that- desperate to get even with abester.

it's true that once you get into a mansion training gets easier.

but you have to look at it in perspective, not in singular. sure, on it's own 300 points per train is HUGE.

but as easy as it is for me, it'll be just as easy for the guy next to me, who ALSO has billions of dollars and 300 points per train.

which makes it JUST as hard as RTS -- just to a larger economical scale.

I just slapped my forehead on the points market tip. I undercut the going rate by $90M per point and profitted $6B in 30seconds. In 45 minutes I'll have 21 points again.

The in-game economic model is pretty outrageous.

i understand what you're saying. it all depends on how competitively you want to play. i'm currently at level 12 and am capable of killing most at my level (except those who have ridiculous stats, in the millions) and the couple of levels above me. with the cheating that went on it will be impossible to ever catch up to the best in the game... they have as many points and as much money as they want at their disposal. but you can definitely get somewhere without investing a lot of cash, since i know everyone has already done that over at rts.
