When I lived in Denver, I was meeting with a client downtown and they had a telescope in the office. I figured the telescope was for looking at the hotel across the street but the hotel had smoked glass windows so I asked the guy what they could see with the telescope. He told me that at night when the room lights were on you could see in the hotel rooms. Maybe someone was watching you through a telescope. lol

My ex-wife previously lived in NYC and would occasionaly "give a show". Whenever we went to visit we'd stay at a hotel and give a show.
In the summer I go to Ocean City and get an apartment on the upper floors of one of the high risers. In the day time I'll hang towels over the balcony railing and go nude to get a full tan...and have sex. At night...

I've always thought it'd be interesting to see a couple going at it on one of those balconies at the Hyatt that overlook Orioles Park at Camden Yards. Maybe this summer . . . . action on the balcony much more interesting than that on the field, LOL!

Now this sounds like fun. having several thousand folks watching.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad week El. Hopefully the coming weekend will get better for you. With no snow, at least you and I have not been able to get out and make snow angels this year though I know you are disappointed.

Today is the “ High Holy Day”, the 17th of March...St. Paddy’s Day Sadly under the current circumstances it can Knot be celebrated properly. My trip back to the “ Nickel City” was cancelled over the weekend. But I’m doing my best today to make up for it. Some Guinness, Tullamore Dew, music, & my pipe. I’ll raise a glass to you Sir. Hi FourFlags. I usually meetup with some buddies at Loonies in Howard county for a St Patricks day breakfast and beer but for obvious reasons did not happen this year which is a bummer. A Guinness sounds good right now. Stay safe.

Didn’t have any plans to be ruined... As for how it’s affecting me? It’s not good. I don’t do well with not having a reason to go and do and be productive. Depression is not something that mixes well with forced inactivity. Thinking of starting a gardening project if the rain lets up, but we’ll see.

Have not even been able to step outside in the backyard because of the rain and I believe more is on its way for the weekend. Was hoping to at least start the backyard cleanup from the winter.

What has everyone being doing to occupy their time? I tried a virtual trivia game on Zoom last Friday night. Definitely not the same as sitting around with friends having a beer but it was something different to do. Stay safe everyone.

its been tough - I was furloughed but have been recalled for Monday. I am trying to be grateful - I have a home - I have some rainy day money in the bank. I am healthy. catching up on my reading, spending WAY too much time on the internet and doing some farm chores

Need a good bet payoff

First of all, I hope all of our MD Lit friends are doing well during this very surreal
and dangerous time. If you are in Central MD and need a little help, feel free to let me know and I will try to be of service.

Secondly, now for a little fun, my wife is going to lose a bet to me today, but we have not agreed on a payoff. Clearly, I cannot make it too wild (cannot go anywhere and kids are home), but I want to at least reap some reward. Any suggestions? The typical "oral" payoff is great, but I was hoping to be a little more outside of the box ... so to speak.
