But I like to fold laundry so go ahead and bring it over and you can join us in the tub while I fold your speedos and whatnots!

haha. You have a good memory. I was thinking of just burning my clothes and buying new ones, but as it turns out I hate shopping for clothes more than i hate doing laundry.

I have a shiny nickle for you if you fold my laundry.

And there are no speedos in my laundry. Just silk boxers.

Ayway...and as I promised so many other people...I won't bite unless you ask me to!

The story isn't as exciting as "watching" the Indy500 but, B-52 and KC-135 squadrons came to my base for an exercise. The KC-135s refuel planes in-flight and they let a bunch of us from the base go up and watch them work. Sort of a super E-ticket ride. The view is from the belly of the KC-135, where the boom operator lies down to maneuver his joystick so that the telescoping fuel probe can be coupled with the plane that needs fuel. So the boomer deployed the fuel probe and this B-52 flew up to engage it. Refueling takes about 20 minutes, so during this time, the boom op let us lie down in the belly and watch the process. I had my camera so I took a few snaps of the operation. It was one of the coolest things I ever got to do while I was in the Navy. These B-52s will be making a return trip to Iraq if Mr. Hussein isn't careful.

Well...don't feel bad for him...I offered to fold his laundry...I know it's weird but that is about the only household chore I derive any satisfaction from...no way am I cleaning...and while I love to cook I'm around food too much to bother when I'm at home (can you say TV dinner???)
But laundry I like...anyway...
Kyle thinks I'm dumb enough to get his clothes wet again...sheesh...where's Roman when I need him????????

You know...I just have to share this...I'm 38...a working mom...my kid is 11...and thinks he invented all video games...but I just whupped up on him real good at Mario Party...I LOVE IT WHEN I WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't it feel wonderful to beat your kid at something??? They know it all and its sorta nice at times to be able to rub their noses in it...lol I desserted you guys again last night..but I have a perfectly wonderful excuse...Dinner out(again) and then to a blues club. So by the time I got home I was too tired to catch up with you all.

No problem Roman, I enjoyed every min. of our conversation on Thursday..I just wish I'd stayed longer..I might not have been in that damn accident. Oh well, I'm mending just fine but I do need an evening in Beth Anne's tub...lots of good, girlie smelling stuff in the water????
