A couple of members of this board noticed a long posting I put up a week or so ago and referred me to this site. In the posting, I was wondering if any folks in and around DC would care to get together for a sexual free-fire-zone party, where we can all do the things we read and write about. My thought was a sort of expanded Jack and Jill party, with folks free to do what they wished, and with any consenting person who cared to join in. My inspiration was the old Plato's Retreat parties in long-ago New York, a club on the Upper West Side where 300 to 400 nude people would mill around during a weekend evening, lounging on pool side chaises, bobbing in and out of a Jacuzzi, and at some time or another going into the aptly named Ball Room to fuck under strobe lights to the thump-thump of music. The sights and sounds of 50 or so couples fucking at once, side by side, stir my memory to this day.

Anyway, anyone who is interested can run down the posting by going to my profile and then checking out my postings. If nothing else, I think it would be fun to sit around in the nude and chat about sex and just see what develops.

As to making sure that no unwanted attentions are forced on anyone, male or female, I think back to swing parties that I used to attend out in Northern Virginia. The host couple always made sure that one big mean son of a bitch was present as a bouncer if needed. His very existence kept everyone in line.

**Maryland** Lit-together Update

OK, there are enough newbies (to this thread, anyhow) and others who probably could use the 411 on the Lit-together without trawling through the entire thread for clues. Here are the details. I'll post this info (or a link to this message) periodically as well.

Date: Friday, May 9
Time: Probably starting around 6:30 to 7 pm
Place: A restaurant to be named later (and a second-round draft pick)
Location: Arundel Mills Mall, Hanover, MD

Leading candidates for the place to meet are Chevy's in the mall itself (Tex-Mex) or TGIF's (which is somewhere??? near the mall). Both places are likely to be packed--I don't know if Chevy's takes reservations or not. If anyone else knows a good place in that same area, please post it. Folks can just show up when they're able, to munch and meet, and talk for as long as they want...

Friday is in general a bad night for me because, gasp, i am taking an LSAT course which falls on certain saturdays. So if its that friday i hope i can get away with just popping in for a short time.

Keep us all up to date so we know if thats a firm date/time/place.

Thanks for the welcome AAAAhman, Illmatic, Roman, and anyone else who thought generally welcoming thoughts but didn't voice them, or I missed. Or would have welcomed if they'd seen me.

I do have an interest in Japanese culture. Chinese, too. Kinda started out with origami as a kid, moved into martial arts, and from there into philosophy and religion (thus Susano).
And Northwestern Maryland is, in my case, the Frederick area. So anybody from Hagerstown to Germantown who needs a roommate, don't be shy!

Ahhhhh, back home and what a lovely day that was! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. I couldn't believe how nice it got after noon. Chased all the rain away and I hear it's supposed to be in the 70's all week! Joy!!!

On an off topic......Can anyone recommend a good mechanic? I don't have the time/aptitude to work on my car and need some minor body work done and paint touch up. Anyone have any good feelings about a place that they are willing to vouch for? Remember that I live on the Eastern Shore so I don't want to drive too far for the work. Thanks for the advice!

I used the Mobil in Grasonville (off Rt. 50) for an oil change once. They didn't put the plug back on when they were done, so it all drained out on my way out of the parking lot. I noticed and came right back in for a free refill before any damage was done, but you might strike that from your list of places that get it right the first time.

I'm beginning to lose hope on the roommate front, though--all the resources I've found so far are websites that charge $30 apiece and only have one or two possible matches in my price range. Anybody got a large, sturdy cardboard box I could have? Preferably wax coated for weatherproofing...
