While we're working on more details for the group concept, I guess I should toss out a few of my character ideas.

I have a few basic ideas that I would enjoy using for this. The one I'm liking the most is a human. He'd have been from one of the non-alliance colonies (I think).

The close second is a krogan. He's got similar personality traits to the human, but they're developed from a traditional krogan upbringing. The problem is he reminds me too much of Wrex. If I come up with a good way to distinguish him from Wrex I will probably go with him.

The other idea I have isn't tied to a species yet, but he'd probably be more fun as a Salarian. This one is just a rough idea, so I probably won't go with it.

Whoever I go with, I would like to have him be the bodyguard/assistant/etc to whoever the actual prothean expert is.

If you make the Prothean expert's bodyguard a human, it could cause an intresting dilemma with the Turian. Especially if the bodyguard is also a veteran of the First Contact War. Just a thought.

No my guy isn't going to be that old. He also isn't going to be from the Alliance at all. He would have been born and raised on a human colony from the Terminus System. He has no military training or political concepts. He is just very good at handling rough situations. He is, however, still very human.

Wow, I guess I'm the only one who finds Quarians whiny losers. 'Wah wah. We're exiled from our home planet because we tried to commit genocide.' Boo freaking hoo. The Geth rock.

Anywho, I've got another story idea. We're pooling together with another set of merc/treasure hunters who are on the verge of something big. We arrive at the dig site and find a large cavern. They say they'll guard the entrance and when we go in, they contact us via our omni tools. Turns out they're selling us out, they blow the entrance up leaving us in a tomb. We head in deeper and find a set of Salarian Miners who were set up the same way. We break them out using the mining equipment and find our ship remarkably still intact. We leave, determined to catch them and get even.

I did have an idea about a Krogan, Nidhogg, you're more than welcome to use this is you'd like? Did any of you ever watch Star Trek The Next Generation? Well, assuming you're not complete Trekkie, there's a race called Klingons who are animalistic warriors. There was an officer called Worf who was raised by human parents. Growing up, Worf accidentally killed a human boy by his sheer strength. Since then, he took a more serious demeanour and didn't laugh or have fun like everyone else. Maybe my Krogan was raised by human or maybe Salarian parents and had to restrain himself to be around his people?

If you don't want to use that then I'll use it, or if you'd prefer I'll use my human vanguard.

Bio: Almost like a marauding warrior, Kaito wandered from planet to planet earning chips as he went. No job was too dirty or too difficult for him. His hair has thinned as he wandered, it’s tricky to try and put his age down. Some say he’s in his forties while others claim he’s nearer his seventies. He had training in some form of military, his trigger finger is very disciplined and without his weapons he’s just as lethal. Has an outright hatred for Vorcha though, people theorized it was something to do with his past.

Oh! Before I forget, opinions on something. I'm writing another smutty Mass Effect fic for Lit. It's after Shepards funeral between the start of ME2 and his rebirth. Liara/Ashley or Liara/Kaidan? Also, Samara/Miranda and what about Thane and Jack?

So far, the name took me four hours
to come up with.... I have some SERIOUS
work to do. I want to coincide my bio
with the current storyline. As I don't like
the Macgruber my way into a story..... though
I am certain that my character will have more
ties to the group as I am discussing with
Professor Nid as we speak. He is awesome.

I have another female Quarian name, just in case your interested. Isli`Feyy nar Io. As for how your character has ties, well.... She could be on a Pilgrimage currently and one our characters meets her, they have a common goal and become friends alone the way.

Well I think we have enough to get started. Before that, though. Everyone should post a finalized version of their character here so I can copy/paste them as profiles in to the Main IC thread.

Once we have our character profiles posted on here, we can work out what role our characters have in the group dynamic.

Avellan? Just some friendly roleplaying etiquette. Giving suggestions to people to help with their character is fine, but it is generally kind of rude to just come out and say "Here, use this name I made for your character." Especially when the person already has come up with a name.

I know you were just trying to help out, but still.

I will have a standard template for you guys to use for character profiles up in a little bit. This will just help with organization.

Sorry about at Nidhogg and Dizzy fish. When I play D&D, my friends and I always do stuff like that, it heps us to see if that information can help later on so that`s why I suggested the name.

Dizzyfish, you wouldn`t take God`s advise? Oh my... me neither.

Nidhogg, I`ll put a finalization on my character for you to copy and paste. I`ll have it up in a few minutes. Hope you`ll like my updated character.

It's all groovy. The only problem is
with my character. I am not sure
the Migrant Fleet really cares about
her Pilgrimage much anymore. As I
believe she has been ousted. Though
the details on WHY are shaky currently,
that is how I am playing it out.

I am not sure if she just up and left,
or they really gave her the boot. I am
not really sure..... I say really a lot.
