I don't believe it's an outlier that Washington state has the fastest growing economy of any state since instituting a $15 minimum wage. Correlation doesn't equal causation. But, at the very least, we can see that a higher minimum wage is not detrimental to the potential of a state's economy.

The $15 experiment is only in the City of Seattle and a couple of outlying towns. It isn't a statewide deal..

Besides the economy up here is not driven by the lower paying service industry.. A great deal of it is aerospace, high tech, and medical research which typically aren't low paying to begin with..
