Missed Opportunities

I know everyone have one or two missed opportunities in their lifes that you regret not going after. I have had a couple but the one that always sticks in my head is:

Back in 1999 I was opening a restaurant in Naples Florida. I had a woman about my age working with me taking care of paperwork and generally helping out. If I remember right her name was Angela. She was cute, sexy and had a dirty little mind. But she worked with me and I could not risk the consequences. We had a very obvious connection and one day in particular remains in my mind. We were finishing up screening applications and doing interviews and the GM had just left. Slowly each of the new hires leave and I recognized that soon we would be alone. It scared the hell out of me and excited me at the same time. I knew if she did or said anything I would cave and want to take her right there on the desk. As the last person left we looked at each other and I could tell she was wanting me and I was just as turned on and wanting her. I dont know what I did to avoid the obvious opening but I packed up and went home. We continued to work together for another year but never spoke of that day and spent many nights at local bars as friends. So if your out there Angela, I should have locked the door and taken you. Pulled that flowy dress off you ripped your panties off and fucked you till we both passed out. Still makes my heart beat a little faster thinking of what could have been explosive, animalistic , mind blowingly hot sex.

Anyone else have a story about the one that you missed on?

Im going to give this a little bump because I know there is someone that wants to tell a little story about that time in band camp.

I have two missed opportunity stories. Both sad.

The first was my freshman year in college. I was out drinking with my best friend and her new roommate, all getting to know each other. The roommate and I hit it off, and we decided to head to my dorm room. We were kissing asks groping each other, all signs were go, but I really had to pee after all the beer. I asked her to excuse me and left the room. When I came back she was sobbing and told me that she needed to go.... I found out later that she had been molested by her grandfather for years and it had really messed her up. She had lots of emotional troubles as the year went on, it was sad that we couldn't help her much.

The second isn't as much of a downer, just hindsight of younger times. I was at a wedding(of the afore mentioned friend, actually) and I attended stag. I was 23. At my table at the reception was a woman, also there solo who had come to the wedding and reception from the same town I had about 50 miles away. We talked and danced quite a bit, and as the evening went on, fog set in across the area. She suggested we split a hotel room rather than risk the travel. I declined, assuring her I could navigate fine and she could follow me back to our town..... So stupid.....

Yep...she was giving you big time hints, lol! Oh well...live and learn, right?

It's the nice guy or the fear or rejection that gets us every time.

Thank you for the memories.

Being a nice guy cost me a few times in college. Now at 39, regret might be a strong word, but I certainly wonder about what those nights would have been like. Some would have ended in me holding the hair of a beautiful but enebriated co-Ed calling for dragons, but then others would have likely been unforgettable. I've never really had a true one night stand which I guess is a little regrettable... Nice guys do finish last unfortunately.

I literally turned down a woman who grabbed me by the cock and told me she wanted to fuck me. Another yet who invited me out to her vehicle for oral sex while in a bar; although with her my instincts proved correct as she later called me a faggot in front of a lot of people- terribly coarse and vulgar woman. I wish those were the only two times that my better judgement got in the way.

Moved to a better forum. Tell everyone about the "Damn, I should have" time.

I was coming back from my corporate office visit about 5 yrs ago. Had a GREAT convo with a woman on the plane the entire way back, very MILD flirting but it was there for sure. I ALMOST asked for her email address but...didn't.

The one that got away...

Im going to give this a kick to the front because I think it has the potential to be a fun thread. Help me out Guys and Gals!
