Been lurking for awhile but just located this thread. Also in MN. Might be up for the gettogether.
What's the status as far as date and attendees?

Hi, Signs, and welcome to the getogether thread......so far, I think it's looking like the evening of June 20th. Nothing further has been decided......the general plan is dinner, something else (dancing or Sex World or something), then a hotel room for conversation. Hope you can make it

Sal, I like your dirty dice/chocolate idea.....we'll have to see what happens, I suppose, but I know no matter what we'll all have fun.

Hope you guys enjoy your Memorial Weekend Sunday......I will not be around tomorrow, so I'll be seeing you all on Monday.

The dice/chocolate sounds wonderful.
As far as Strip clubs go, I have alwasy been partial to Augie's, although I have not been in a while.
Sorry, I did not mean to imply an orgie was on the schedule.
Spontanaiety is fun though.
And I do look forward to seeing everyone.

Well, I'm a strip club virgin, so I'm open to suggestions.....anything fun that I can get into is cool with me.

We.. I am far from a virgin when it comes to strip clubs.
The only problem with Augies is that you must be 21, otherwise there is Deja Vu, Dream Girls or the 418 Club...no alcohol, no problem

Big problem with the 21 thing, I don't even have a fake ID to try to get in.

We also have other things we can do.....Sex World.....a bar or club, as long as they don't card at the door......or we could watch movies or talk at the hotel, it doesn't matter to me. I have Secretary......those that haven't seen it, it's definitely worth seeing.....for me, it would be my sixth time.....but I love it, so that's not a big deal.

Anyway, after plans are up for discussion for a while yet......but we do need to decide on a time and place to meet. Suggestions???

Hehe.....dice and chocolate sounds good. I am thinking.....perhaps it would be best for everyone who's planning to be there on time and not leaving until after dinner to just meet up at whichever hotel we're getting a room at. Then we could all ride in a few cars instead of everyone needing to move their cars whenever we go somewhere. Just a thought......

I will look online for hotel prices. I remember from the last getogether that a whirlpool suite at the Doubletree was $89. I have never stayed anywhere downtown, so I don't know about cleanliness and whatnot......but assuming it's clean and nice, the Doubletree might be a good place, since it's suites. I will look at everywhere I can online, though......then give you guys a few of the best possibilities.

It's a lovely day I just need to finish cleaning up my room, then I can go outside.....YAY!!!

Sounds great to me, I would be there around 6:30 and having to leave about 11-11:30 as I am up at 5:30 the next day and will not wish to wake everyone else. And yes it is a good idea to conserve on cars, but remember in downtown there will probably also be a parking charge

I will look into the parking charge, see what it is....around Sex World there isn't, since I know where to park and I'm sure we can find somewhere to park by the restaurant that isn't lots of money, if any at all.....I hate the city, lol, it's so much less complicated in the 'burbs
