OK, so the 19th.....any votes on what to do?

We could get a hotel room again.....a cheaper one, just for us to chill in, so it wouldn't have to be a suite. Otherwise we have the whole dilemma of where to go after dinner.....Carp offered his house, but he hasn't been around (unless he's lurking?), so we'd have to find somewhere to go.

As for food, I was thinking Mexican.....Chevys or something.....is that ok with everyone?

2. Does Chevys (Mexican food) sound ok?

3. Is everyone willing to spend about $10 on a hotel room, so we have somewhere to go back to, or would we rather go somewhere like Sex World and then just go home?

Assuming everyone's ok with the first two things, those are set......what I haven't decided is what we're doing after dinner....because the hotel worked pretty well last time, I was thinking we could do it again.....and if we ate dinner earlier, we'd have time to go swimming if we wanted to. But if you guys don't want to do the same thing again, that's fine.....just need some ideas

There are a few around.....just depends on where we want to go. I know of at least two......one in Eden Prairie (where I'm guessing we don't want to go, since no one but me lives out here), and one near the Mall of America. May be more, I'd have to check. If we are doing the hotel thing, I know that the Courtyard by the Mall is also not too expensive.

Otherwise, if we want to go somewhere else, we could also choose a different restaurant

Unfortunatly, nothing that much fun. So, yes, I can't make it that weekend. And I will probably be committed for the next few weeks as well...

Does the Mall of America count as central? It's not too far for me, aside from the horrendous traffic.....although that shouldn't be so bad on a Saturday. I know it's quite a bit south for those of you in the north, though, so let me know if it's too far to drive.

kev....the getogethers have been starting at 6:30.......and I can't make changes just because one person can't make it then......No one else has said anything about not being able to come until later, so as far as I know you are the only one who will benefit from making it at 7. At the last two getogethers, deepstar couldn't come until 9, but I couldn't make it at 9 because it wouldn't have been fair to everyone else. Deepstar just came at 9 and found us, and hung out until he had to go home. If you can't come at the time we start, you can meet us where we are. At 7, that will be the restaurant, I believe....but I'll let you know once I get the reservations set up.

dinner is tentatively set for Chevys, and we are tentatively going to a hotel afterward. Nothing set in stone, but since no one has said anything different, I'm thinking that will be the plan.

Eee, okay, playing catch-up again. The 19th, 6:30 PM at Chevy's in/near the MOA?

I was also thinking maybe we could get a room at one of those chain hotels that has a pool. And order pizza. But that's just me. Paying for another meal and room might be a little out of my price range this month.
