I've been her primary care giver for going on 6 years, now. She hasn't needed a whole lot of care till recently. They found her lump while I was on vacation. My mother has actually been doing most of her running with the important stuff like surgeries, tests, etc. However, I get the everyday stuff, taking her to her hair appts, dentist, doing the laundry, making sure she gets one good meal a day, cleaning her bird cages, running to the store for everything...it can really wear you down after awhile.
Anyway, I didn't mean to ramble, just wanted to empathize with ya Mom!
