Well, I'm about an hour from that border. But it would be great to get together. It has been years since I've been to Apple Holler. We should work something out. At least now while the only thing we have to worry about in terms of precip doesn't have to be shoveled. Hope you enjoy the book!

It's a delight to be back! i'm glad everyone seems to be doing well in the kitchen. My hours at work are always crazy these days..Ugh.

We will work something out for sure. Apple Holler is a great place to be Sept/Oct. Very pretty.

I hope things have called down for you and that the temps are moderating. We've had lots of storms too. Last one went through a short time ago this morning. We weren't expecting that one at all.

Work hours can be stressful especially when they keep changing. I hope you are able to get a bit of time for yourself so you can relax. I love it that you are dropping in here again.

Yes Apple Holler is gorgeous then. I'm looking forward to working out getting together. It is always fun to meet people I've been posting with.

Mom is doing well, thank you for asking. She and dad are home, she saw her doctor Friday, they reviewed her meds, her diet ~ she needs to completely stay away from caffeine. Good thing she doesn't crave chocolate but she does miss her tea. She sounds good. I just have to hope and pray.

I am looking forward to it, the meeting. One of the downsides to the internet is we become friends with people all over and geography makes it difficult if not impossible to meet. The times I have done so have always been grand.

Pretty damn chilly on the sports front, tho: England out of the World Cup (*), and Hamilton and Button ONLY 2nd and 3rd in the F1
