Well girls it was 99 when I came home from bingo and 103 in the van and me with no air
Stripped down and going to have a nice ice cold rum and coke and stay in for the rest of the evenig....got a call y/d and this morn

TGIF sweetie. It's been muggy and hot and then nasty storms last night. We got about 8 inches of rain!
It is hot again and with the sun coming out it will get so very miserable today. Really muggy and hot. Thank heavens for AC.
I do hope the two of you can get together.
Oh my lord!! that's a lot of rain....it rained Wed nite for about 3 hrs but only an inch...so much flooding around here and yes your right...thank god for the a/c...been so muggy ...my is running again
In the city the deluge has no where to be absorbed. It just runs to the nearest river... And then the rivers overflow their banks....
That it is. And the majority of it, about seven inches came down in less than 2 hours.
Of course the major flooding is in the urban, concrete areas. I live out in the "boonies" and there are wet lands and stuff here as well as farm fields.
