Movies that turn You on........

Imi... LOL now I have the Partridge Family song in my head (....come on get happy...) *GROAN*

I totally have to agree with Arden about Shakespeare in Love for the exact same reason! And the costumes.. I'm a Ren faire person, so... If you have never worn a bodice, you really should try it some time!

Anyone ever see Still Breathing?

A Knight's Tale ranks up there for me too... its worth it for the Chaucer character (the actor's name eludes me at this time)!

Well, I could go on, but I really should get back to my work and stop boring you all ;)

His name is Paul Bettany, he was the roommate in A BEAUTIFUL (gag) MIND, and he plays the young Malcolm McDowell (how did he shrink that much) in a brit film called GANGSTER #1 which should get any woman (or man) who likes their men long, lean, blonde, british and BAD!

D

Jen Connelly fans should see her in PHENOMENA, her second movie ever, Made by the absolute master of Italian horror, Dario Argento....(yes he is Asia's dad).

Asia Argento makes some ungodly hot films as well, but you cant mind subtitles because they are in Italian.

Basically anything with Gwyneth gets my blood going, but she is SO radiant in GREAT EXPECTATIONS... BOUNCE is also a guilty pleasure.

Wild Things is so blatant, but i love it, same with THE LAST SEDUCTION. I love evil, confident, sexual women.

*imi leans back with arms still semi wrapped around Arden. Pauses, looks at her, Looks down Arden's shirt*

DA-YUM...How the HELL did I miss that fine set of knockers?

Well, *hugs Arden again* Damn glad to meet ya! *Big cheesy smile*

I had a good laugh too, don't worry about it.

(Lol... Hopefully I don't look like a guy any more...)

Does the name CARY GRANT mean anything to anyone here?

What a wonderful and hilarious actor... I've never seen a movie of his that I didn't enjoy...

:rose:

yes, but...

I personally prefer Bing Crosby, yes, a bit of a different genre of movies sometimes, but I LOVE his voice and, of course, the dancing... Yes, I know there are the cliche movies like White Christmas and Holiday Inn, but I'd have to go with my favorite as Bells of St. Mary's. BTW, on a side note, I really hated when the began to colorize B&W movies. They totally lose their effect I think...

Really wouldn't have guessed that one.

You both are so special and lucky to have found each other.
counting the days for you'll to be together.

So what kind of movies will you'll be watching when you are together?

Thanks, Joan, for your lovely words!:rose:

"Sleepless in Omaha", I mean "SEATTLE" is the first film we watched online "together"! We were going to visit Empire State Building when Oman was here in February, but, ummmmmm, we were kinda busy!! I don't think Oman realized he was actually in the Big Apple!:D

The thought of watching any romantic, dramatic or funny film while snuggling with Oman will really turn me on!;)

I can watch "The Outlaw Josie Wales" and walk out the door and whip the world's ass. Lotsa great lines, too.

"This man Wales is easy to follow - he leaves dead men wherever he goes."

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly does that to me. So does the first Mad Max movie.

American Graffiti is my all time favorite movie. I get this certain feeling from watching it that I can't really describe, But it's the same feeling I get when I listen to Johnny Cash.

The Rainmaker fucked me up, as I had a friend who was undergoing chemo and a marrow transplant when I saw it. (BTW, He's been in remission for years and is in good health and spirits now)

My 3 favorite car chases are in Jade, Ronin and Bullitt.

As far as erotica goes, the scene from Dusy 'Till Dawn with Salma Hayek (sp?) got me going.

Oooh, I agree - Salma Hayek's dance got me goin' and I don't even swing that way!

Fave quote from AZ...

"Her insides were a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase." Love that scene with her bawling at the doctor's office.

So glad you remembered Gone With the Wind - so good.

My sexiest move has to be the English Patient.
Ralph Finnes was so hot. An when Kip (dont know his real name) washes his hair and you think so thats what was under that turban....made me swoon.
Other favs-
Sound of Music-Julie Andrews is the best
GI Jane- Didnt know Demi Moore could look so hot bald
Color Purple-When ever I need inspiration
Any Harrison Ford flick-he is still a hottie
