Movies that turn You on........

A good sex scene is in Monster's Ball

My husband and I watched it and we both agreed it was just so real. I mean not like a porno where they look at the camera and make fake noises. This scene was just so hot!! Make me feel good and damn he did that turned us totally on cuz porno's are just the same old same old.

I thought Henry and June was kinda hot, too.

It was the first movie to come out with the NC-17 rating 10 years ago or so. Do you remember that one?

Vaguely, I know I have seen it but do not remember it that well.

OOOOOH! Movies!

I have to agree 9 1/2 weeks....hot!
Sliver, Mmmmm!

There was also another with Mickey Rourke...Wild Orchids or something like that....sizzle.

My all time favorite is Bull Durham... just watched it a couple of nights ago in fact... When Kevin and Susan are in the kitchen towards the end of the movie and he wipes everything off the table and lays her up on it... Now that is passion...

I also like Body of Evidence with Madonna... some of the sex scenes in it are really hot...

Porn is another story all together... I have yet to see one that I didn't like...

OK i know its been said. but

9 1/2 weeks.

yowzers! im still waiting for my Mickey.

what a man!

:) Skye

Sexually - Caligula of course, nice orgy scene!,just kidding, well, maybe not.

Comedy - I loved "Used Cars", a 1970's movie & "Blues Brothers"

Action - "Predator", love Arnold and Jesse the body & "Heart Break Ridge" Clint Eastwood

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Body Heat" yet. Kathleen Turner and William Hurt just make the screen sizzle. "White Palace" has another good scene with Susan Sarandon (please God I want to grow up like her!) and James Spader. Let's not forget "No Way Out" with Costner.

For pure bittersweet agony, "The Way We Were" with Redford and Striesand. Add to it "West Side Story" with Natalie Wood and Richard Beymer. Ooo, and "Say Anything"

Comedy is "The Princess Bride" and "Big". "Turner and Hooch" is also a fav.

And for Porn, gotta be "The Dinner Party." It's got a plot that allows for very little plot. And it's on film!

(man, I'm not including anything recent. Gotta get out more or they gotta start doing better movies)

*Imi runs up to Arden and slimes all over him* Where have YOU been hiding??

Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse in "Brigadoon"!

*Imi sings WAY WAY off key*

New York, New York!
It's a helluva town!
The Bronx is up and The Battery's down
The people ride in a hole in the ground
New York, New York!
It's a helluva town!

Okay, I'm such a goober for old musicals.

This is driving me NUTS!! From Summer Stock, Gene Kelly and Judy Garland. Last movie Garland made for MGM. Last number in the show, she's in black, thigh length coat, heels, and fedora. One of the sexiest damn numbers she's ever done. It's not Happy Days are Here again, but something like Come On Get Happy.

Anyone remember the song??

And as long as we're swooning over dance numbers, Gene Kelly in "An American in Paris" and I HATE that I'm blanking on all his dance partners! ERGGG!!

edited cause Imi apparently doesn't know the difference between ground and grown!

ROFLMAO!!!!

(I'm a her) :D

Darn, am I really that flat chested?

Gene Kelly in anything... and Cyd... what a dancer!

How about 'Singing In The Rain"

One of my favorite Judy Garland films
"Meet Me In St. Louis"

Also love all the old Garland/ Mickey Rooney films...

Imi... LOL now I have the Partridge Family song in my head (....come on get happy...) *GROAN*

I totally have to agree with Arden about Shakespeare in Love for the exact same reason! And the costumes.. I'm a Ren faire person, so... If you have never worn a bodice, you really should try it some time!

Anyone ever see Still Breathing?

A Knight's Tale ranks up there for me too... its worth it for the Chaucer character (the actor's name eludes me at this time)!

Well, I could go on, but I really should get back to my work and stop boring you all ;)

You're right. It's Come On Get Happy. From Summer Stock. Where she's surrounded by all those guys -

Shout Hallelujah
Come on Get Happy
We're gonna shake all our cares away...

Or something to that effect.

Leslie Caron was in American in Paris.
Vera Ellen was in On the Town.
Kathryn Grayson was in Anchors Aweigh. So was Jerry from Tom and Jerry.

There ain't nothing like Gene Kelly in a sailor suit...

Judy and Mickey rocked. I will watch anything with them in it.

And Singing in the Rain - it always makes me laugh. "Moses supposes his toeses are roses..."

Ditto on Shakespeare in Love for all, including costumes. I found some really good Renfest inspiration in Kenneth Branagh's - Much Ado About Nothing - especially for warm weather fests. Plus, it's just a great movie.

DA-YUM...How the HELL did I miss that fine set of knockers?

I wish I could knock her down and take her looks.

Ya know, I really enjoyed Labyrinth - but Dark City rocked!

Thank you Artesemia, for Caron's name and the lyrics. I knew I had that sorta right. Sorry LadyD, I was struggling to keep that out of my mind too. Judy's version is so much better.

I wanted a wedding dress like the one from Labrynith. *sigh* Only sorta got it.
