When was the last time you were wooed by someone who used the word 'splendid'? And is 'wooed' a weird word, or what?

Never. I live in the south and I am pretty sure if I have ever heard a guy say the word 'wooed' or 'splendid' period. I think 'do ya wanna...' and 'damn good' are the translations for here.

I've spent an hour trying to figure out how to reply to this, trying to make a good first impression. Fail. I was thinking Bubba jokes, or your AV of one of my fave people, or maybe a completely different subject like kangaroos. I'm flummoxed. Do they say 'flummoxed' in the south? That's all I got.
