Everyone here has been great to me. I did lurk for awhile, trying to decide which board I wanted to be a part of. I think it was Lou's AV that lured me here, honestly. That and the chance to hang out with some of my favorite writers on Lit.

Having a real life friend who participates in Lit is great fun, you guys can call each other up on the phone and talk about the site like Carson and I do. Yes, we are that lame.

In all seriousness Elsie, making friends around here is pretty easy if you stick around. There are a many types of interesting and unique personalities, and interacting with/deciphering them can be wholly delightful. I've only been here for a few months, and see how well Tatelou and I get along?

Fortunately for me I had some competition to get to 100 posts and be the first to get an AV. Making friends on here seems to be pretty easy, you will of course see that 'some' seem to be in their own clique, but still open to discussion with you from time to time.

No one here bites, and we're all one big extremely dysfunctional family. I for one am proud to be here and able to call them my friends. (Even the ones who piss me off from time to time.)

I still remember when I showed up here. I jumped in with both left feet firmly wedged in my mouth and managed to piss off fully half the board in one go. Somehow they have managed to overlook this and I'm still here.

Relax, ask questions, feel free to act goofy from time to time, (we all do,) just one word of warning. Don't pet the animals, they'll keep coming back for more.

Making friends at the AH is easy and the race to get 100 posts and the AV will remain one of my best memories of lit.
