I still sometimes think about a breakfast I had in Görlitz. I ordered a breakfast set for two, they asked me to choose a bread roll, I named what I want, and then they were like and? I named another. And? Another… I think there were six rolls of my choosing in that breakfast. Happy times. I love bread.

Oh yes, in Germany right at the border with Poland! Based on the pics I have there were five bread rolls, so maybe it was five rolls for two people and not six. Still plenty of yummy, freshly baked bread. And you got to choose them one by one from their whole roll selection, which was wide. Coffee/tea and OJ as beverage.

Görlitz in general was a great place for a visit. A bit far from everything, but great! Interesting history. The city was divided after WWII and now half of it is in Germany and half in Poland (the Polish city is now called Zgorzelec). You can cross the border on a couple of bridges.
