I just liked to have too much fun in college not to mention the fact that I did it only full time not extra hours like they had it planned out. ME was actually a 6 year course if you did it 12 hours (considered full time) a semester.
Makes sense. If i could do it again, I'd have had more fun myself. Graduating 'on time' hasn't yielded the additional benefits I expected it would.
You can retire much earlier than me, lol. That's a HUGE plus, not to mention more money and time
With the huge amount I shell over every month in interest and taxes just so I have a place to live? Not likely.
I guess I make up for the time now with my 3 months off a year vs your 5 years earlier retirement. I still think by the time I retire my career will be considered high risk and I will be able to retire at 20 years, lol. Who knows. If schools keep getting these shootouts, it might be
In time you'll get hazard pay like those State Dept guys who work in 'dangerous' posts.
I said I was going to sleep but it didn't happen.
Not yet...I had to get alternative certification to teach though since my degree wasn't in it. I was lucky too...When i started college, my major was math so I was taking the regular Calculus I with analytical geometry by the time I made it to Calc II I had changed to engineering and switched to engineering calc. That one class of Calc I saved me. I couldn't teach with just the eng. calc.
I had 4 years betw calc I and II because of my dyslexia and trying to get my writing english levels up to gordon rule. I lost my genius at math during those 4 years...this is why I switched my major from math to engineering...figured it would be easier since I had that massive gap.
Oh the memories...I was insanely gifted at math during those years...I am so mad they made me stop taking math to catch up in english...
Didn't mean to bore you with my novel here..lol
Boring? A Engineer chick, no way.
Desirable from age of consent onward.
Wow talk about pulling out an old one
Thanks for the whoo haaa, lol
I don't consider myself an Engineer anymore...I am a math teacher...boring yet?
Not in the least.
I don't get to do much engineering myself anymore. I've joined the dark side.
I still have mine. Of course, it's a bit threadbare now so I don't wear anymore.Lmao!
When I was in college this engineering club made these T-shirts that had a limit problem on it. I wish I had a picture to show you. It was something like this:
As the limit of GPA approaches 0, and engineer goes to business.
I know I am wording this a bit wrong but it was hilarious. They had to change their T-Shirts thought because the business school became very pissed off.

You had this T-shirt??? Do you know where to get them? OMG those were some funny days when they would wear them to the buisness school for classes, lol
I think it was either the IEEE or ASME chapter which sold them. I don't know if they bought them locally or from the parent society.
I had some good times with the ASME group. We went to Atlanta one time for a big convention. One of the best times of my life I don't remember which group it was that had them either. Must have been from the parent society if we had them too; idk though. Good times...
Hey, lookitthat, I'm 2/3 the way to being "Really Experienced".
See this thread actually works! LOL
