The story of the Zamboni Man- as told by Rei-Rei

witnesses: Rhyst, CT and Reiha
time: about 12:30am, Sunday, August 26th, 2007​

So after watching Transformers ( yes Tromby- I FINALLY saw it!!), Myself, Rhyst, and Chronie were all walking out of the biggest mall in the world to get to Rhyst's car. So along the way, there was this skinny middle-aged black guy riding around in a floor-waxing Zamboni. So we're joking about him and such, and suddenly, the damn driver speeds up and is like threatening to run over Rhyst! So I tell Rhyst, " watch out, the Zamboni guy wants to run you over". We laugh about it, and we joke a little about him being crazy and such, then all of a sudden, the damn driver passes the three of us, with his creepy, toothless-crooked-teeth grin, like he was completely thinking of running over Rhyst!
We start laughing our asses off, and I tease Rhyst about him being in his dreams and such, so the Zamboni dude slows down, does a U-turn and heads the way we came. He then stops the Zamboni, gets off it, and starts picking up Litter. He wasn't happy. So we assume that he thinks Rhyst threw garbage on his nicely-waxed floor.


Now the Zamboni guy will haunt Rhyst, Myself, and Chronie- forever.

Gah! I got a little confused at times at the major fight scene. Maybe it was me sitting in the 2nd row, forgetting my glasses, but I kept confusing Megatron for Starscream. It was like I would shout "YAY Starcream!!!!" then Chronie would go " No... that's Megatron.... again". GAH!
and Starscream flees? Where does he go? Why can't he just stay on earth and kick some serious ass? Now that Megatron is out of the way- come on! Starscream could kick Optimus's arse!!! he's got the flying power! And the Mountain Dew guy? WTF? and the X-box 360????? Are those supose to be marketing tools?!!!! GAH!!!!!!

Perhaps Frank Welker can come back and do Megatron's voice in the next one, since I'm pretty sure that Megatron is going to be revived from the sea's bottom. It's a hunch, anyways, and possibly his vocal processors are damaged and now he actually sounds like the old-school Megatron.

I think Jazz sounded too deep and Ironhide didn't have as much of his classic attitude, but overall it was a pretty good movie.

It'd have been nice to see Starscream insulted more, though.

They made a poll to see which character people wanted to see the most, and Soundwave was the winner, followed by Grimlock and Devastator. Hopefully the writers will find a way to include him this time.

Someone was having an NTLDR error... here's the fix.

Boot the system into the Windows XP Recovery Console.
Note:
For more information on booting a system to the Windows® XP Recovery Console, and the available console commands, refer to the following Microsoft® Knowledge Base Article:

Description of the Windows® XP Recovery Console Article ID: 314058



After logging in to the Recovery Console and receiving a command prompt, type cd \ and press the <Enter> key.


Type dir /w and press the <Enter> key.
A directory listing appears.


Read the directory listing and check for the presence of the following files:

ntldr
ntdetect.com

These files are required for the operating system to boot. If those files are not present, they must be created.


To copy the missing file or files from the Windows XP Reinstallation CD, type map, and press the <Enter> key.
A list of the drive letter assignments is displayed. Take note of the drive letter assigned to the optical (DVD or CD-ROM) drive.


Type copy x:\i386\ntldr c:\ (where x is the drive letter for the optical drive), and press the <Enter> key.


Type copy x:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\ (where x is the drive letter for the optical drive), and press the <Enter> key.
If you are prompted to overwrite the file, type y, and then press the <Enter> key.
