Thanks everyone. I'm feeling a bit better. I can't say I didn't see the break up coming, and it is the best move for both of us to make, but it still sucks. Fortunately in about a week I'll be too busy to even think about her anymore, but until then I'll keep on doing my best to smile.

So, it seems that I might not have a long distance girlfriend afterall. The girl from medhold that I've been sending messages back and forth with (they can use pay-per-minute cell phones in the medical hold squadron at Basic) just told me today that she had met a guy on a detail she works at. So, little jealous, but dunno how serious it was to begin with. Mostly I just thought she was cute and delightfully crazy, and that I might like for it to develop somewhere.

Ah well, guess now I have to worry about dating girls who live in the same area code as me.
