Dammit, I moved up the hill two weeks ago, and now I have to move back down the hill, because one of the Marine dorms is overcrowded and they're getting one of our buildings. Also, I have three and a half hours to do this because I still have to be in by curfew. I am gonna be fucking exhausted in class tomorrow. Also, I'll be off the internet until probably day after tomorrow because I have to get Sprint to move my service back to my old room again.

Grr, in some mild trouble for falling asleep in class, hopefully it'll blow over. One of my sergeants not-suggested that I should start drinking Upshots (nasty nasty energy drink that comes in a little bottle) to stay awake in class.

More Grr, I work up the nerve to ask out Army Girl, but I don't have a chance to talk to her for a few days. I run into her today on my way back from PT, and the first words out of her mouth are "I have a boyfriend now!"

I think my heart stopped beating for a little while there. We talked for about 2 hours tonight and resolved everything that could possibly be an obstacle to start dating each other. She's going to take some time to let the other guy off slowly.

I am ecstatic.

Yeah, at the moment, my internal response seems to be just to backburner it and refuse to think about it directly, partially because I have more time-critical things to do (so far I've ironed my uniform, blocked my hat, did my homework, got my laundry going, and jammed out to some Big and Rich before bed)
