I hope you're right about that (him leaving her alone, I mean). I'm pretty self-centered when I'm as down and hurting as I have been lately, but one of the things I absolutely hate any time I hear about it is guys that hit women.

one of my "if I ever win the lottery" pipe dreams is that I'd learn karate or something so that I could kick the shit out of guys like that. (why does it have to be if I win the lottery? because I can't afford karate classes, for one thing. for another, I'm trying to be realistic.... you can't go around dishing out vigilante justice without incurring some legal fees.... no matter how much the scumbags deserve it.)

by the way..... my anti-violence against women stance aside..... I know a couple of really mean-spirited bitches I would love to punch in the mouth just once. maybe it's a contradiction, but I see it as just more of that vigilante justice.... they definitely deserve it.

It has worked out for my friend it seems. He is a classic bully and he won't pick on her or raise a hand anymore. (As a note he never did hit her, he knew he'd likely die by someone's hand. But he is some real scum. He'll threaten anyone with physical abuse, But he backs off is someone steps up.)

So they're Broke Broke-up now. She's on the market and Ooh lucky me I'm not being considered, But I do get to hear about this tall geek who plays pool. Sometimes Moon I feel your pain, And just want to slap a woman too. But I don't and it always passes with a more then healthy dose of guilt.

But she's happy and that's all that concerns me.

I scared a girl today. That confuses me, Or I confused her. I saw something cute and kind of chubby and oh so deliciously nerdy on the bus. Very close by cause we're all packed like sardines. So I said hi and tried to talk to her, And she pulled a scared little girl look at me like i was going to eat her or something. Confuse me.

Oh well maybe my date on monday will go better.

(Aside. YEAH. RIGHT. It's another one of the wonderful I have issues crew and she still has not worked them out it seems. Still has her cell phone around her neck just in case he calls. But she asked me out so that seems promising. Maybe she'll be willing to move on a bit. Though I don't have a lot of faith. Other than being spineless about the breakup he's a legitimately good guy.)
