Does anyone else think that we so get jipped with the whole weather thing... One day its 50 the next 90.. I am so hot today.. its yucky and humid! .........ugggggggggghhhhh :(

We had the same thing here is Concord NH. The Thunder and lightning was every 3 seconds

Where I live in Burlington, it wasn't so much a passing shower as a OH MY GOD IT'S RAINING SIDEWAYS type of storm. :p Lightning strikes every 3 seconds, trees bending...

And yet, as I watched, a few guys came out of one condo and started dancing around. They went inside after a few minutes, when one of them almost got swept away by the river that was formerly a road.

All in all, like you said, wicked fun. And awesome. :p

Oh, and its starting again right now. Kickazz.

RainDove, stop saying things I like to do......and then calling them weird! I understand what you said about the cape...a little. I head north a lot, but I go to Maine. I just love Maine.

Fall is by far the best season. And the Cape is great, but I have completely gotten bored with it in the last couple of years. I have more recently started to go to places in NH...

But the beach is my all time favorite in the winter when there is a storm.. My dad used to take me when I was little during the huricanes and stuff... weird.

Thanks Jen, :rose:

Glad to be back.

I remember that day, I was walking around Freeport Maine in a t-shirt in the afternoon. Earlier in the morning I was a little over an hour north, and there was snow on the ground! lol That is New England!

I don't mind when its 90 degrees, but its when its also HUMID that it
drive me crazy!! ACK!!!

I can't say a thing about the seasons as of late.....back in January of this
year we did have *one* day that it was actually 70 degrees! Then only
a few weeks after that it was bitchin' cold and snowing.......

I just got back from Maine a week ago. I had a great time, as I always do.

I just wish there were jobs there...

Not much luck with jobs in Vermont either. I've just decided to volunteer. Better than nothing.

I think where you go to escape is all about a change of scenery... I guess I get the best of all worlds - live in seacoast NH, husbands family has a beach house in Maine and I have relatives out on the Cape... I usually head to the Mountains when need a change of pace :D

Well, were all a little wacky so I guess it suits.................... :)

heck why not? :D

Here's some cold drinks for everyone!!!! Cheers! :nana:

Oh Poo.. Anything I like I just assume must be weird, but if you like it too.. I will make an exception and only think of those things as the best. ;)

I have actually never been to Maine. Almost made it once.. but bailed last minute.. too long of a drive for a weekend drinking party. Wouldnt mind going now...

This sounds ideal ... though a "beach" house in Maine probably doesn't have much beach, does it? Or is this along that small part of the coast with sand (and $$$$$) ...
