New Milestones Thread

Perhaps an anti-milestone. I find I get about 20 new followers with each post. I was at around 980 followers a month ago. I released two works (one fared poorly) and now stand at... 997.

A watched pot never boils, I guess.

Today is my second anniversary as a published Lit author. In that time, I have posted 36 stories. They have been viewed over a million times (mind blown) and have been very well received by the readership. I'm just a few shy of 800 followers. One of my stories is in the top ten for it's category.

But the important thing for me, is just how much I'm enjoying myself as I write. A well written story, hell, even a good paragraph is nearly instant gratification. That's hard to find in an artistic pursuit.

I want to say thanks to everyone here in the AH who has been supportive and welcoming. It's heartily appreciated. It's nice to be part of a community of like-minded perverts. :)

Happy anniversary, and here's to many more!

I second StillStunned's motion.

Happy Anniversary!

I don't even know where to look at those things. LOL
Today Too Cold Not to Fuck ends its run on the "Most Read" list for the past 12 months, at number 70.

(The view count is 15k below the count in my dashboard, but presumably so are the counts for all the other stories.)

Taking a rough guess at around 60-70,000 stories published during that time, I'm quite proud of that position.

Had kind of a weird one. I'm pretty active in the "Looking for a Story?" subforum. A couple of days ago, for the first time ever, someone had come looking for one of my stories. Even more amusing, another regular there beat me to the punch and directed the person looking to it! It's oddly complimentary to have written something that someone liked enough to remember the story (even if they didn't favorite it), then come looking for it again AND to have someone else remember it and help them find it.

This site's interface and internal navigation system are not the most intuitively obvious, but they're not difficult once you try them out.

First, get here:

The pulldown menu at "Explore" takes you almost everywhere you might want to go.

"Categories" will take you to more menus for new story lists, category story lists, etc.

"Popular" will take you to the most-viewed and highest-rated story lists for all-time, the last year, and the last 30 days.

"Favorites" will take you to lists of the all-time most favorited stories and the all-time most followed authors.

"Forum" will guide you back to the forums where you can rejoin the conversation here.

Thanks, I'll look into it at some point, I'm sure.

I don't know how to get there through the site. I just Google "most read literotica".

I just realised that, with my latest story, I've now published in exactly ten categories: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Exhibitionist & Voyeur, Reviews & Essays, Erotic Couplings, Erotic Horror, Incest/Taboo, Group Sex, Lesbian Sex, Non-Consent/Reluctance, and now Chain Stories.

You should spice your life with some BDSM or Anal!
