Hello. I am yet another new guy dropping in. I have been reading the stories for some time but had no idea of what I was missing over here on the BBS. There are several "OOC" clubs here as well. (OOC means "Out Of Character) These are places to go to meet other writers pretty much as just yourself. You can have an opportunity to talk, go over ideas, learn about new stories in the works, or ask questions. Or you can ask questions here, and some one will answer.

Introduction

Having read some of the posts, I am a bit reluctant to continue with Lit. I'm an older guy - 53 (going on 20) - who has a job which is a particularly lonely one. I am a nature and wildlife photographer/writer who spends many weeks totally alone in the bush.

The average age of members here is a lot less than mine, and I'm a bit intimidated by that!

Quite frankly, I wouldn't know how to start a 'relationship' on-line, or even what to do if I managed to actually get involved!!!!

Don't be put off about ages, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that actually there are a lot of us writers in our 40's and, yes, even in the 50's. There is certainly a wide range of ages here.. and some of us might sound younger than we are or older for that matter. So please don't be shy.
