Was busily reminding an ex (As in last time we "dated" we were 19) of that fact all night...it hit me this morning when I had to get up for work how true that statement was.

Good for you. I hated high school, and I only went to college because I had no idea what else to do with my life, and consequently had a bad experience with that too, although I finished - only to spend a miserable freaking year of my life in a field I did not like working in, for people I didn't like or respect either.

But then I stumbled into my career, and ultimately went to grad school, and loved, loved, loved that experience. But it was because I was older, had some life under my belt, and knew what I wanted to get out of it. I have a feeling you will have the same experience.

I'd be lying if I said that it was easy. It wasn't. It was a lot of sacrifice. But I got it done, I felt tremendously satisfied, like I really accomplished something, and it's given me a real edge at work too. So, as the saying goes, just do it.

And thirty-one, schmirty-one. Age is just a number. It's what you do with the years that counts!

I thought it was who I did that counted :p I told my boss yesterday that I was going back to school...he got all defensive..thought that meant I was telling him I was quitting...after I'd "promised" him another year....finally got it through his head that I wasn't planning on leaving right this second....

Hey all....gee, seems like I've a missed quite a bit...wish work would ease up! I;ve had meetings everyday and every after school....just really really weary!

Greetings everyone...Hope your day was good. And it is nice to see that after a day of some sun, the rain has returned :)

Work is definitely keeping me occupied this week, and by weeks end I should have about 8 1/2 hours of OT.

slowgo, I went to see the DaVinci Code this past weekend, and it was much better (and more plausable) than I thought. I never read the book, but I thought the movie was good.

GG, Good choice going back to school. I am contemplating doing the same myself, but I can't seem to find the motivation. Good luck with it!

I am going to go watch the hockey game, but I wanted to check in. Have a good night all!

oh no...he is...he's just had too many techs leave him...he's worried...cuz he and I really work well together...He and I hashed it out today...figured out some strategies....

I guess I'd just have to keep them from getting too cold by covering them with my hands. ( or something )
