Hi Jersey!
The funny thing is that one of my favorite Devils players is Scott Gomez. Whenever he gets the puck, I yell, "Go Go Gomez!" I never thought aobut our tow names together. That's pretty funny! It was snowing/sleeting/raining last night- ick! That part of the winter I don't miss. It's supposed to snow somewhat tonight.

Anyway- I hope that all is well! It's busy crazy here, but what else is new? I worked both Friday and Saturday night. Now, I'm just hanging out...time to go to bed soon. And then I'll see Gomez again.

Snow, snow, snow! We have white ground covering this morning! Yee ha! I am seriously excited about this development. It almost feels like winter now. Of course, it's barely an inch, but enough to cover the ground. And it's that heavy wet stuff too, so it clings to everything. I have visions of snow men, snow balls and 50's era Playboy Bunnies lolling around in front of the fireplace barely clad in white fur dancing in my head already.

It was nice to see the snow, wasn't it? And I hope that we do get that big storm- but on Thursday, not Friday. It's no fun unless we get a snow day!

Gomez- we will have a good time this week and especially on Saturday!

I know I soooo rarely post anymore...but life's gotten beyond busy....but I am taking some time off in the next week or so...starting with Friday, when I'm taking a 1/2 day to go to the Toby Keith concert.....(yes I like my shit-kicking music) anyway, it's been ages since I was up in North Jersey....need a suggestion on a good restaurant for dinner, something steak/american oriented that's NOT a chain.

We didn't "Start a Fire".. wait that's a Long Island song...lol

We took a chance that worked out WAY beyond what we had hoped for, and I'm glad we both took that first step Babe.....

And i do like the new name Jerseyman.. SlowGoMez purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect...lol

How have you been since the accident ?

I love Shit Kicking music as well.. even got Slowgo started on it...lol

I'll leave the resturant recommendations to Slowgo... But there are some really good Portugese resturants in the Iron Bound section of Newark and some really nice places in Bergen County...

GG- in Clifton (on RTE 3) there's a nice bar/restaurant near the Clifton Commons ...unfortunately, I can't remember what it's called. You could go to the Ruth Chris' restaurant which is right near the Meadowlands. I'll keep thinking!
Have fun at the concert!

Jersey- I don't know , we keep trying! What else can we say?

I'm mostly doing ok...a bit sore at times...just have to be careful what I do....no heavy lifting etc....so.....

So did you find a date after all? Sorry I can't be helpful in the restaurant department. The areas around the Meadowlands are unknown territory to me.

Going to see Kenny Chesney/Brooks and Dunn in June I think, XTU's annual concert, also in June, Toby when he come to the Garden State Arts Center, and Trace Adkins for my birthday at York Fair....

Well, we didn't get any snow. 8-( very sad for those of us wwishing for a snow day, BUT i am not working this weekend and I will be very happy about that. I was called several times by work to come in, but I said NO. So I'm hanging around waiting for Gomez to come over...and then some fun pre-party! And I can drink tonight--watch out! Here I come!
