Isn't that your dog? wonderful picture!!!!!! thanks for sharing!!!!!!

It is and thanks!

The bird bath is where he honed his penchant for licking food placed too close to the edge of the dining table.

Thats a gorgeous dog mate. I'll put one of mine up if he ever stops looking stupid long enough for a photo.

Thanks. In the typically british fashion, we only got him because I was absolutely terrified of german shepherds.
Needless to say I'm not anymore, and I always have something to look forward to getting home to, even when my wife's not home yet :)

The City of Ocala had for years been sponsoring an ice rink for the holidays, but this year decided the liability involved wasn't worth the effort. This year they rented a Ferris wheel and for the past two months it has been drawing a nice little crowd of young and old alike to the downtown center square.

I liked the first picture best. The colours are so crisp, and the sky is lovely. :)

This thread is dedicated to non-erotic photos, but there are often questions about camera gear and techniques that could be entertained in a separate, dedicated thread. Does anyone think there could be an interest in a camera/photography thread?

It could offer tips and/or feedback for learning, as well as short camera/equipment reviews by anyone familiar with a particular piece of hardware. It could also be a place for people to ask specific questions about a camera that another member might own or be knowledgeable about.

I don't expect it would be a very active thread, but it might help someone who is searching for information about photography, and considering this forum is dedicated to amateur picture feedback, I thought it might help those who want to learn.

Does this sound like a good idea or not?

You get a big yes from me on that one. I would love to learn a lotmore about photography. Doing it here also gives me a further reason to enjoy the sights on the ampic board too!!

Thank you - wasn't that an awesome launch? I want you to know I enjoy your photos immensely. I am not a photographer at all - I wish I were but I am the proverbial cut heads off and shoot the picture after the person looks away. I see so many things I would love to capture and remember. The other week, the full moon, as I am driving home over the bridge, I thought - how my grandkids would love that picture - we sing the moon song all the time.

Again, thank you for posting them on the thread, even if I can't contribute - it's nice to look.

Thank you!

Did you attend the launch? It was my first time. The traffic out of Titusville was unbelievable! It took me two hours to get out of the parking lot and another hour to drive two-tenths of a mile to US1. I didn't get back home until after 10PM, but it was worth it. What an amazing sight to watch the shuttle climbing until it was just a silver speck in the blue sky.

Well I live here so I watched from my office window across the water. I tried to take a video with my cell phone but not very good. I got better pictures off the TV newscast. And there were a lot of people here - which makes us happy. There was a time when we use to complain about the traffic on launch days but not any more - we will miss that. And my 15 min drive home took me a good hour - even using my shortcuts -

And it is amazing to watch the shuttle climb. I always like to watch until the boosters fall - and I still tear up and get chills.

Again, thank you for sharing.....
