I don't actually mind the heat, I'd go insane up your way. I'm quite happy that I only have two kinds of weather, hot and slightly less hot. That was one thing I learned in Iraq was us So Cal boys were like. . .hmm 120 degree weather. It ain't great but it wont' kill me. Everybody else was like "OMG going to die now."

Eh...right on, maybe it's me who get's pissy, I can't stand the shit. Yea being from Seattle, the middle east was a pretty rough environmental acclimation, so was the south for that matter but at least they have good food and lots of scantily clad women.
Washington...yea...true story. I really think we (most the folks in the NW corner of CA) are more like WA/OR than most of CA.

You really are. i have no idea where the line is but somewhere north of LA the culture just radically shifts. Fortunately West Coast 4 Life is still a thing and Texas still sucks.
