OCC: Star Wars: Return of the Sith

Well, I guess this is what I'd like to play then. :)

Name: Doprekka
Race: Wookie
Gender: Male
Age: 70years

A young wookie, he was brought into the jedi order as an infant, found by a travelling jedi master and found to posess an extremely hi midi-chlorian count within his bloodstream. Raised by matrons within the council, when he had come of age he took to his Jedi training. He has trained now for 65 years as a padawan learner, and is quite adept with his dual crystal lightsabre. (used like a two handed greatsword.) His heritage as a wookie has set him back in his training many a time due to the inherant rage felt by all wookies in times of stress. Yet, now he has progressed extremely well and is known among his people as the "quiet storm". Peaceful and serene his honor bound life and existence is perfectly in tune with the Jedi code, compassion for his fellow man and the honor to do what is right are his cornerstones. Thusly he strives, if humbly to earn his status of master alongside his teacher.

Hope this is passable.

As for his lightsabre. Basically it's just got a longer hilt to accomodate his larger than normal hands and a longer blade, comporable to a claymore, or greatsword, at least to human size, to him its a slightly larger than average length blade. The blade and crystals are also a ocean blue color.

His physical description: Not exceptionally tall, at least among his people. He is however quite the handsome beast to many of the wookie'ettes back home. With golden wheat colored fur with black highlights, and dark brown eyes. That perfect lil black nose, and big wide mouth capable of a sparkling smile or a stoic look. Though he's more apt to be stoic. Seeing as his communication is along the lines of the wookies with his simple vocal chord construction, he is more the strong silent type. He wears the plain robes of the jedi, and has the typical padawan braid done into his fur at the side of his head.

Sounds good to me. Welcome aboard! :D

urmm oh yeah. So like I've read some of whats goin down. but I don't suppose someone could be nice enough to gimme a lowdown on whats been happening lately, and also where the heck everyone is?

Oh yeah, and for any of you playing sith out there. I was wondering any of you would like to pm me for some plot twists and such, like a hated enemy thing or something to that effect. I figure with my character having been a padawan for 65 years he's prolly been around, and if nothing else he's 'da bomb with his light sabre. Hopefully to be on par to Mace Windu one day, who is his idol from the past. I figure power wise, he's gonna be like a prodigy. But I'm sure it'll take quite some time. I'd like my enemy to be stronger, someone I have to work to defeat. Someone who's always been able to out-think him thus far, maybe even try and seduce him to the dark side. If anyone thinks they can play this role it'd be grand. pm me.

New char

Here is my Master character:

Name: Duur'aan
Race: Dracorian (reptillian species)
Age: 115

He has a gray/green appearance, and is covered with bony spikes around his face and head. Think dinosaur/human. He has claws, and a tail, but he walks upright. Uses a green dual phase lightsaber (it has two different length setting, standard, and one that doubles the length of the blade). He is for all intents and purposes, a pacifist, and is used as a sort of ambassador for the Jedi. He will fight when needed, but avoids it at all costs. His Force strength is about mid-level, not incredibly strong, but not weak either. I'll flesh the rest out as I go.

Unfortunately, your going to have to skim through the story to get a feel for what's going on. There are prolly too many plotlines going to list here. But to start, read the last 5 pages or so. That'll at least get you into the story. Then you and I can work out where we are, and join with the story, somehow. This should be cool.:D

Ok guys, I don't want any more Jedis in the thread. We have to meany, so from this point on, no more Jedi unless I say so.

Phew! Guess me and paendragon just barely made the cut.

I look forward to joinin up in this.

May the force be with you...or as my character would say

"grahhhhhhh!"

Okay, Orlanth, but is it still cool if I use the NPC Jedi Masters I posted. Non-player being the key part. I need a master to test Marius, and I need Marlik for other reasons. I need to know before I can continue to post for Raine and Marius, or at very least Raine.

Bear in mind, I've stil got a Sith I haven't entered into the plotline yet (Darth Figgas), and Vaine has been sitting fairly idle. So we're a little higher up on our Sith count than you may be thinking we are. Figgas'll show in due time, though.

Oh, and Paen, 5 chars...that's my current number, not mentioning all the NPCs I've thrown in. Now, you're one above me, but I'll catch up...you just wait.

All right. For now, Bailen and Ganor are out for a while. I'm sending them on a little quest of their own, to find something even more powerful. Hee hee, you know me, I can never settle for second best.
But, as QC said, there are plenty of other Sith in here, and I for one would like to see one of them take a bit of initiative. So, now that my attack is done, anyone who wants to jump in and take front stage go for it. I'll be back later, with some more fun.
Open forum, for whoever wants to take it down.

NPC Chars are fine, QC.

Remember guys, in Return of the Jedi, Luke was basicaly the only Jedi... This threwad isset one year afterLuke died... He died 40 ears after Return of the Jedi, so try and keep the number of Jedi down to a reality level.

I was reading through the posts and I have a couple questions.

1. Whats with all the jedi using powers from both the light side and the dark side, without any consequences?

2. Whats with all the Sith being...well, compassionate?

I'm just wondering because I keep seeing Jedi, killing out of anger, and rage, or using powers of the darkside o kill or maim others. Maybe I'm missing something but shouldn't this be...I dunno...Bad?

Just seems a little wonky to me.

1. Those Jedi usingboth dark, and light side powers are starting to turn to the dark side.

2. Those Sith are being compassionate, in order for theirplain/plot/idea/story to workout...Example: Darth Kaneis leting D'rackbosshim around, because Kane is waiting for the perfict momment to follow up on his plains...
Sith are evil,so deception is something they use to reach their goals.

Hope that makes things a bit more clear.

I think there is only two Jedi who can. One Jedi, Dartum, isn't really a Jedi, he's a Sith in disguise. Both D'Rack and Tynan do as well (although Tynan is considered a renegade jedi to some extent. He is a bounty hunter, after all, which is definitely NOT a profession full of Jediic virtue). If I guess correctly, D'Rack is going along the same lines. Remember, going to the Dark Side is like a slippery slope; you take that first baby step, then the second, and you think you've got it under control. Then before long you find yourself at the bottom of the hill. I'm looking forward to seeing where Orlanth takes his character.

As for the Sith, Palpatine didn't conquer the galaxy, remember. It was basically given to him because he was so respected. He worked his evil behind the scenes.

Take Moridin, for example. He's got four systems under his control because they think he's a good ally, not because they're afraid of him. Although there will come a time when they will be. Evil isn't always visible. The most dangerous kind is the unseen (Good line, I'm gonna use that, lol).

Alright, now that I'm done preaching, I'll burn my pulpit. :D

That is an even better answer then mine, lol. Thanks, PD. :D

I'd love to get in on the action but, *peers at Paendragon* The dude who's playin my master doesn't seem to be around. *pokity poke poke*

lets get where we're gonna be situated.

Hey QC, I hope you don't mind me mentioning your NPC. I just figured since we're on Yavin 4, and he's the instructor, it would only make sense that they would confer. If it screws up any plans you have, let me know and I'll change it.

Oh yeah, just wanted everyone to know that when I post In Character with Doprekka's spoken words in (....) It's translated from uhhh wookie'nese or somethin. :D

Where exactly is the Solo right now? Very soon I need Marius to leave and go to Yavin 4. Oh, and it's cool to mention Bas'aal, Paen. No problem, so long as you don't take him out of character.

The Solo isn't really anywhere at the moment. I suppose we could swing by Yavin 4. For a meeting of the Jedi Council, maybe? It would give us direction. What do the Jedi think?

I thought we were headed to Corusant? *shrugs* WHerever. Just needed Marius to reach Yavin for his Testing. I figured he could take his X-Wing if needed...If we're stopping by anyway, though...
