OK, all you movie buffs, what is your favorite movie about space aliens?

SPACE ALIEN MOVIES RUL;E

I have 2 favorites. One was more humorous while the other was horrible. The scary one was, "THEY CAME FROM OUTER SPACE". Some black fish looking slugs crash from a meteor to Earth and attacks everyone in reach. They would enter the humans through their mouth and incubate through the brain to create more slugs. Their only way of death was fire. It was definately a B movie.
But the funniest, yet a little scary, was "KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE". The title says it all. They were clowns who killed their victims after first entertaining them. It was another silly B movie.

OOOPS..........I ALMOST FORGOT........

I have to agree with you KillerMuffin (from outer space), INDEPENCE DAY was a killer movie. That has to be the only alien movie that I had seen about a hundred times and loved every viewing.

Hmm, I guess KillerMuffen was the only one who mentioned Independence Day?? :( Oh well. I'm not remembered all that often. Maybe I should have been an Eeyore instead of a Tigger. ~sigh~

P.S.
Jeff Goldblum is a sexy man! Yum!

SORRY TIGGS......

MY BAD, TIGGS. I may have accidently overlooked your post earlier. But what the hell, pop open a brewskie and join the party. Unless if I submit a thread that pisses everyone off (i.e., "THE MOOD IS ABOUT TO CHANGE"), most of my posts are ignored too. It's as if I am invisible.

Tiggs, Siren

I stand corrected, sort of. Rocky Horror is a cult classic, and a personal favorite of mine, but it's still cheesy.

Virus was the best followed by The Predator as a close second. Species has to fit in there somewhere too.

Siren, ya gotta add fav alien book as well cause the book is aways better than the movie! I vote for Communion which freaked me out so much I didn't want to go outside after dark for months after.

KILLER TOMATOES

I don't care if THE ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES was a cheesy, non-alien movie. I was so damn scared, I couldn't eat any tomatoes on my burger or in my salads for years after seeing that movie.
Just yesterday, I was in the produce section of the supermarket and a little old lady dropped the entire tomatoe display to the floor. With all of those hideous creatures free to invade Earth, I ran out of the store and demanded that the manager call 9-1-1, considering that we were now being invaded.
Damn..........I hope N.A.S.A is reading this. (LOL)

Poor GuyJD.....

:p

Man o' Man....I love all these movies...

:p

hey siren, i think that was Starman with Jeff Bridges. I guess the scariest would have to be Alien, but my favorite would have to be Species. Heck i even liked the second one also.

It's called Starman. RonG mentioned it and I triggered my brain to actually remebering it.

OMG Gatorboy......

:p

I just thought of another AWESOME alien movie! ANY b movie played on Mystery Science Theater 300 (the old ones with Joel, not Mike!!)!!!!!!!! ;)

~Tiggs~
:D

You got me with that one Tiggs .....

:p

Funniest alien movie: Amazon Women on the Moon.
scariest: Alien (or Event Horizon)
cheesiest: My Step Mother is an Alien (or Howard the Duck)
Favorite: Mystery Science Theater 2000

I love the Joel ones. I got so mad when they took it off the air. Then I went to the video store, and was happy since I found them all again, but then I got sad again, since it was with some crappy guy, Mikey or whatever.
And now, the 2 evil guys turned into an evil woman, a brain, and a man in a monkey suit. Whats up with that? I loved the old ones, with the old guy comments at the end.
Lol, remember that one where Santa was on Mars, and they had to save the earth from evil elves...
I thought it was great when they asked about a greek movie, what everyone did, besides lay around all day and eat... Joel COULDN"T ANSWER THAT ONE... lol.
Anyway,
Cheasiest movie... Ummm, I think it would be Mars Attacks. I mean it was funny as hell, but it was cheasy too, which is what made it funny. So I am not saying it wa a bad movie, just cheasy... in a funny sort of way.
Funniest movie... Spaceballs... Well any John Candy classic i funny, but this one really captures the essence of funny in a space movie...
Wait, theses are not them, YOU CAPTURED THEIR STUNT DOUBLES!!!
No sir, I didn't see you playing with your dolls again...
Well go back to then.
We can't.
Why not?
We missed it,
When
Just now
When will then be now?

And somebody change the combination on my luggage.

Ok sorry, I had to go off a little bit, it's a really funny movie.

The best alien movie was the Made for T V movie Alf. Yes it was, why are you laughing? Hey Alf Kicks ass, I have all of his comic books, and his collector edition pogs...
Stop laughing...
You are just jealous, in a few hundred years these things are going to be worth something.

re back again...

Last night they showed a movie I used to laugh so hard at for the umpteenth time.

Darkstar, what a wonderfully funny SiFi movie.

I really loved the whole idea of it, especially the idea of teaching a starbuster bomb to think existensially (sp), and the ending wow.

The most thought provoking SiFi movie, I can't remember the name of, so please help me out here:-

Stared Bruce Dern and an Ark spaceship called the Valley Forge...
Anyone willing to stop my brain ache please help.

HEEEELLLLLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHHHHHH!

I was a huge MST3K fan when it was on the Comedy Channel. I would eargerly watch it every Saturday afternoon for hours. Then Joel Hudges left and it was less funny. I only watched it for the cheesiest of all cheesy movies and the crazy robots that were as sarcastic as I. Eventhough Joel stayed on as a writer for a short time, Kevin was too boring and unfunny. Then when Comedy Channel dropped it and the SciFi channel picked it up, it was more uninteresting. So, I totally stopped looking at it until I heard that it was going off and the last episode was going to show the guys get back to Earth. But it must have been boring because, for the life of me, I don't remember how they returned to Earth.
