I have another question (I'm full of them lately)
Are digital cameras okay to bring?
I would figure that they are okay to bring just for taking pictures for keepsakes, but I was thinking about taking some pictures and posting them here after the fact, so all could see how much fun we had...
I know that several of us on here have threads in which we aren't afraid to show our faces, but several do not have threads and don't show our faces... would anyone be against a camera or posting the resulting pictures... anyone that doesn't like the idea of having the face show can get the nice black dot over their face....
Also another dumb question... should we all wear something identifying? Red shirts, black sash, yellow rose? Just so we know we are all in the same group...
I need to remember to call the brewery so I can find out like if they can locate us in a certain area so that all we have to do is say Oke lit-together or something....
Perhaps have tee-shirts made up? (See I said it was a dumb question)

hehe... shirts isnt a good idea... i want to wear my own clothes
I will stand out pretty well... being that i tend to wear hiphop styled clothing.... But as for the rest of you yea it might be a good idea to have something to make you noticeable, like for the people who havent been seen physically on here yet.
And no... I don't smoke, neither does Esha, but J does... As for everyone else I have no idea.

ok..first of all, we will more than likely be reserving a room or section at a restaurant/bar. all that needs to be done is take the names down of all of those that think they will be there and give them to the restaurant to put on the list, then when they show up, they can tell the waiter/waitress their name and they'll be led back to the room/area. so, anyone in the room/area will know that they are the Lit people. i suggested name tags so then we all know who everyone is without having to ask over and over and over.
i'm a non smoker and so is hubby and we really don't like to be around smoke while we're eating (or at all for that matter)...but if it is an absolute must, i suppose we could tolerate it (when we met with Maverick, he was really good about not smoking around us..something we appreciated very much)
as for the cameras...bring them...and just ask everyone if they're ok with having their pix on lit, and if not, make sure to keep them out of the pix

Perhaps not everyone's name, but a general number of all whose going to come and then just call the table the okie internet group or just call us the MOLM group (meaning only to us the midwest and Oklahoma lit members)... that way all people will have to say is they are with the MOLM group

Well, depending on my method of travel out there I might have to leave early in the morning on the 29th.... that's if I take the bus... though when I told the BF that I'd been offered a ride (possibly in more ways than one) out there he said that he'd try to pick me up on Saturday and there by take me home as well...
Though I have to be back by 6 pm on Sunday, or on the safe side it would be better to be home at 5pm... for when the kids get home.... the kids will get super upset if I'm not at home when they are and I don't want shit from the ex or the parental figures...
