Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Had an urge to listen to some blues, and some rather racous blues at that. Some Muddy Waters, with some guitar and screams courtesy of Mr. Johnny Winter fits the bill nicely!

Muddy Waters - Mannish Boy

When you say Blue, I always think of this one
Baby Sitting Blues by R.I.P. Albert Collins

Birthday wishes to John Mellencamp, born this day, October 7, 1951, 73 years young. He's still recording, put out an album ("Orpheus Descending") last year though I haven't listened to it. He's got lots of mucis to choose from, and this one is pretty good.

John Mellencamp - Authority Song

.....Journey...."After the Fall" (live).....I was watching a video last night, and I was thinking this was Journey at the peak, I know they played at JFK for 90,000 people in 1983, but truthfully I think the Escape tour was likely more of a peak, the band just seemed happier...Frontiers was a good album, but I think the years of touring were taking a toll

These are for Brenda since she is a guitar fan!!

Guitar Boogie Shuffle - Virtues

Raunchy - Bill Justis

or

(Dance With The) Guitar Man - Duane Eddy & the Rebelettes

Even if it's Friday I feel kind of sad today so here's my mood songs(s)
I totally get if you just need to ride that out, I definitely have days like that.

I have been trying to use my music choices to help get out of feeling low (because, I feel low way too much) and for me, that works. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

"well if it rains, I don't care..."
