OOC: A new superhuman team.

Once I get my computer set-up straight & find time from doing school work ... I'll post a character bio ... So it looks like not until the week end ...

Yeah Arc will have a working comp soon. I for one still dislike the way my internet conection behaves.

I'm fine skipping a day or two.

Hey... How about a newspaper article about a woman who apparently drowned to death- on dry land, lungs dry etc. It would remove Roni from the game but still leave her fate open to interpretation. (I faked my own death so that Puddle man would go away.... but I am secretly still alive somewhere) that still gets the other characters thinking "Man that Cliff is one tough puddle man" and leave a bit of wiggle room to let Roni rejoin later desired.

Okay, those that need to take a little more time at the school may do so.

Just remember that most of the rest of the characters have, or are going a day or two ahead of where you are.

Elliot will be waiting for all who wish to come at the address he left printed on the cards he gave the lot of you before leaving the reunion.

Very good idea P.L., leaving it up in the air as to weather Roni dies or not.

I am a little dissapointed that Cliff hasn't taken a very active role as of yet... I hope he does soon.

He tried to Raven, he really did. But with the other hysteria going on it was sort of overwhelmed by the freight train we were on.

Too many things going on to react to and something had to get the short end of the stick. Apologies. :cathappy:

Wait we were on a train? I thought the reunion was at the school.

Ryan?????

Hey, The Grand Mage, haven't heard from you in a few weeks, is it OK if I continue onward and add descriptions of what she can see happening to Ryan;

The Grand Mage said:
Power: Some people are blessed with powers they can control, other people's latent x-genes do little more than consume them. Ryan's power will likely cause quite the bang, as his powers turns him from a mild-mannered, and somewhat boring, man into ...whatever he is. Made up mostly of a steel-looking metal, Ryan has seized upon the Holy Grail of Immortality and Invunrability. Of course, he's lost hearing, taste, smell, a sense of touch, and speech to gain it. Without a mouth, and yea, even most of the organic systems he took so for granted, Ryan is invunerable to heat or any blade.

This could be the first big challenge for the group...

Is it really a challenge; I'm sure one of us can come up with a way to keep birds from sitting on him.

You know, something's occurred to me and its been a long time in coming. I just wanna say thanks for the great rp. You guys have given me a good solid first experience of rping online. So yeah, *blush* thanks guys, i know my writing can get a little insane sometimes, but hey.... i hope i give you guys a bit of a chuckle....

Shit. Yes. Sorry for the delay, everybody. RL came up and slammed a bat into the back of my knees. I'm catching up today on everything I'm in, won't be on again until the 20-something-ish. 25?

*shrugs*

Of course, at least nothing will be too difficult, as he'll be unconscious while the entire thing happens.

hey ya grouchy old bastage, hope things are gonne be ok.

guess sometime in the near future I gotta re-post my player-controlled NPC back on here

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing what you will do with your character GM. It's a fun character idea.

Wolfsister, stay around and you'll have plenty more good roleplaying experiences I promise. (And if you need a confidence boost start looking up our first roleplays.)

Thanks for that. I've been writing for a long time, but still.....this is exciting and new to me.....writing with other people. I'm definately going to stick around for this one....

I started maybe a half dozen stories before lit, I'd eventually get writers block and stop, never to return. One advantage of being here is you can always start to write in response if you can't think of something new. So this way does have some nice advantages.

i'm still here, just had taken a leave of absence. let me read and post up when i'm not about to pass out from exhaustion.

Is it too late to join in on this?

I'll go read over what's happened so far, make my bio, and see where I'd best fit in if you don't mind another participant. :)

I don't see why not. We are just getting through the part where everyone got their powers and are now gathering at the new base of operations.

Okay I've been able to balance school, work, and social life. Ta-da. If you need Roni as a plot device ("Oh no so-and-so's guts have been stapled to his forehead! We need a super-healer!") just send me a PM.

If someone's stapling guts to foreheads, I don't think any amount of healing will be able to get there in time to help.

Interested

Hey, just found and read through this thread, and was wondering if I might join up later after reading the main RP thread through? I've a character concept in mind - a sort of junior team member, activated by Elliot once the superheroes have already started to come together as a unit, if that's okay - as well as what I'd like her power to be.

Unfortunately I'm off to work now but I'll find and read the main RP thread once I get home for the night.

Looking forward to the reading...
