At the moment, I'm not trying to get you to do anything, I'm just waiting to see how everyone reacts to the clues. I dropped several in my last post, which anyone here can interpret in any way they choose. Its up to all of you, individually, whether you read about the information I divulged in a library, or hear about it on the street, or learn from eyes-and-ears, etc. At the moment, my character is doing nothing, save pondering the clues he has found and deciding where to go to learn more. Everyone else needs to do the same. I can't make the clues any more obvious, because then you would have no challenge, this is one of those things thats going to seem really obvious in hindsight once the Horn is found.

I pmed you about my utter cluelessness. It sounds like he was in the Mountain of Mists where Manatheran once stood. I can not think of a one way portal since the Waygates you can go both ways and also the portal stones you can go both ways. I would imagine the DIRT everywhere was a big clue, but other than being in my oldests bedroom; I have no idea.

Yes, Blaze, I know this is a competition, but it looks like most of us are in the same boat.

Alright, in the spirit of fairness, I'll even up a little.
First, the gateway isn't specifically one-way, as Chewey implied. The clue simply meant that that was the single way into the land in question. Passage through said portal can go both ways.
As for the clues that were in my last post;

1) There was mention of an "instrument", namely, the Horn.
2) There was mention of safety, meaning that the Horn was in a place secure enough to protect it from evil.
3) Others were mentioned, capitalized, as though to differentiate them from the other races of the land.
4) The land where these Others dwell is said to be wondrous, by a writer who has seen Manetheren. Therefore, it can be assumed that its glory outstrips that of most other lands in the world.
Thats about as specific as I can be, I think I've probably already said too much and let out some details.
As this goes on, I'll post more clues to make things more clear.

If I remember correctly Petrel, Blaze did not care whether we all met up or once since we are all in competition with each other.
