No we don't want Xavier, Jean or Cyclops freed. They are all too powerful and noone should be allowed to PC them because of that.

This way we have Storm as the head and the other team leaders can play off of that. Vix doesnt want Rogue as a team leader since she cannot post frequently, so we are looking for an established Xmen to lead another team and Gambit and Rogue are co-team leaders. That is when they get back of course.

The X-Men movies are the best example.


In each of them professor Xavier is incapcitated in some way in the first half of the movie.

The reason is obvious. His power is so great that there would be no real danger with him around cause he could easily fry the minds of 99% of the marvel universe.

Jean is arguably more powerful than Xavier (she's the 2nd strongest telepath and maybe the strongest telekinetic)

Cyclops isn't around because no one wants to play him.

And Fantomex won't show up in person for a while (I hope Chronicle comes back to finish Juggy) but Xavier was taken for reason that'll come up sooner or later..

Make sure to define Cable's powers though.


You're free to use him as you want cause he's pretty varied but I would recommend one of these:


Classic Cable: Weak Telepathy and Very Weak Telekinesis, Heavy Guns, Bodyslide

This is how he was on the cartoon and in his first appearances

Psi Cable: Moderate to High telepathy using the Psimitar staff, Very Weak Telekinesis moderate strength gun but no body slide

This is how he was in the late 90s

Cyber Cable: Able to interace and read anything electronic and can intercept and perceive electronic transmissions (radiowaves, tv waves, etc) Able to see in infrared, body slide and heavy guns

This is close to how he is now.


You can play him how you want, I just suggested those power molds in order to keep his character balance as another Cable (the Nate Grey knock off) would be a valid marvel character but too powerful.

Everyone, it would help if you hold off on the danger room for a while.


The Danger Room is going to be incorporated into a ongoing feature of the thread and its going to be used to express some things that happen so as to preserve continuity it would help if no one posted until we showed what the danger room can do for our characters and how it is used.

It's going to be cool


Oh, and I pulled an all nighter to finish my project so I'm going to sleep. I'll be back later tonight.
