Let's all just sit in a happy circle, hold hands, eat cheetos. Eventually get naked, asl while listening to the Beatles.

Don't want to listen the the Beatles? Fuck.off ^_^ or bring head phones and listen to lit's audio section

I'll listen to the Beatles all day, naked or not. I can do without the cheetos.

Add beer I'm in, except I ain't in a sitting circle and getting naked.

Can't we just sit in a comfy recliner happy circle then? I get the concept and am a Audiophile I love music :D

Me too and I'm so sad:(

My 40 year old Pioneer Amplifier that has powered my system has died and the parts to repair it are no longer available. This system has been at the heart of my music since I was in college. I'm thinking about have funeral and burying it.

I like my Bose Wave system but it just isn't the same as powering up that old amp, putting on some vinyl, or tape or just the tuner and kicking back while it drove my high end Avid speakers.

My dad still has his Boston Acoustic speakers from the 70's. haha. And they still work awesome!

I remember after dinner sometimes we would sit or lay on the floor in the den and put on records and just all of us listen to them as a family. I used to BEG to listen to Riders on the Storm on the record player when it was raining outside. I can still feel the cool night rain coming in the open window screen in the summer and that song playing in the background. It's a very powerful sensory memory for me.

My favorite Doors song. My old man was always dragging old shit people didn't want. Listened to Cash on a small 40's cabinet record player. Sound quality sucked so I prefer digital music without the record noise.

It always woke me up, such an awful way to wakeup.

There is nothing like hearing the stylist when it first touches the vinyl. I normally only played the vinyl twice. Once to see if I really liked it and then if I did, I recorded it to my reel to reel. When it died, I started using cassette. Not the same quality but the vinyl did not get scratched.

Being an academic sucks major balls. . .

Especially when you can't do research/ask questions because the present company doesn't believe in what you're researching. . . . *groans*
