My only request is that we don't get to far west (like the coast). Any where in the greater Puget Sound area down to the Kelso area would be fine. Just trying to keep the driving time down to under 8hrs.

DD, you would have had a ball with us last night, although, it got a little ugly at the end of the night. I kinda hit, ok, was molested by (note: I enjoyed the hell out of it) some dude's g/f.

Hey Washington/Oregonians!!!

Hello from back East............so the word is out on the
street that you guys n' gals are planning a Litogether?
Very very cool!!!

As a "veteran" of Litogethers from both CT/New England
and NYC, I will impart a couple of things:

1. Best place to do a Litogether is to have a "central"
meeting place, such as a bar or restaurant where everyone
could meet up. Give a set time of when people should be
there-----an example I could give is for one of the NYC
get togethers, we were to meet at this one bar/restaurant
7pm, and that we would be there til about 10-11pm that
way people could have an opportunity to get there without
having to rush......

2. These get togethers are not meant to be orgies, and I
stress that highly, because after the July 5th event for NYC
there were some people who weren't even there that assumed
"things" went on....yeah, we got a bit crazy and fun, but
nothing more. The main idea of getting together to have
fun, relax, and get to know your fellow Lit members........and
another point is don't feel pressured to do anything you don't
want to do and makes you feel uncomfy...........

3. I don't know when you are planning to hold the Litogether
but the most important thing is to get an idea of how many
people would like to go, and to set a date as soon as possible.
From what I've read quickly on here, my guess is to hold it in
October or even November.......that way people can have
enough time to plan, etc.

Okay....that was 3 things.........but of course, all what I've
mentioned was from my own experience........

i dont like camping that much eiter.. the ground is way to hard to sleep on.. id rather be some place warm and dry and perferably with drinks hehehe
alcohol and crazy ppl make for a good nite hehehe

I only go "camping" once a year now and I have already gone this year. Hence, I am getting a hotel room. That way I can get a tad intoximicated if I decide to and not have bugs eating me to pieces all night.

ok i was taking with my mom(s) lol
they all think kelso would be a good place to have it as its right off I-5, portland is an hour away, seattle is 2 hours away, the town isnt that huge.. so u wont get that lost.. the park is near a couple resturants, hotels, the bowling alley, u drive across town and theres tons more stuff to do(dancing, casino, etc)...
also the 1st weekend in october would be a good date to have it

lets get this set in stone so ppl can plan to get here etc..
and so we can also figure out who is coming for sure

it is actually in seattle. but reading some older posts it looks like you are looking for a more central location. so maybe this wouldn't work.

its an upscale Pool Hall in Downtown Seattle, they have private rooms and bars, music etc.

might want to consider it. at least for a starting place...then people can move down to the clubs etc later.

an idea.

as im busy every other weekend in october except sundays and sundays really arent a good day for most cuz of having to work on monday

sxy u have to be there and u too AA.. if we dont have it on the 5th that means i cangoto california for that weekend.. but that would mean i wouldnt be avalibe till the weekend after halloween
cuz i have plans that are set in stone for the 12th and 19th of october and possible the weekend after that as my bday is the 29th and friends might be throwing me a party

It is understood that some people may not be able to show up on certain days for multiple reasons and although it would be great to have it on a day that allows everyone to attend, unfortunately the logistics involved in doing this and still managing to have a get together soon would make planning this a hellish nightmare. It is understood that setting this on a weekday is pretty much out of the question and so we are limited to only the weekends. What I would suggest if it is not too much of a burden, simply post the days you are not available for the months of Oct and Nov. This way we can hopefully find the day that the most people are avaialble.

Currently the oinly date that I would not be able to attend is on Nov. 16 (Saturday)

Kelso sounds good to me. I am normaly not available on weekends, but have talked with the boss and there should be no problem as long as A date can be set soon. October 12th and 19th are the only days I can't be there. Early November would work for me also.
