OT/OOC: Anyone possibly interested in an adult Marvel Universe game?

I kinda like the sound of X-Force. I don't know what Force-X means, exactly....

But, X-Force sounds like a Navy Seal group... or like Air Force One or something. Ha ha, X-Force.

Super Hyper Mutant Ninja X-Force Team Titan Heros!!!!

problem with that particular name however is that there is already a marvel comics team using it. if I recall correctly they`re the evolution of the old New Mutants team. and Force-X could be interpreted as unknown strength.

It did sound too good to be true. Although, can we do that? Just reverse it and say that's good? Hmm, well, if no one else has a problem with it, I won't make any ways.

Yeah, I avoided using any pre-existing team names and figured Force-X was jumbled up well enough not to have to worry about stepping on toes but still sound somewhat cool.

Hope you are all enjoying the story. Also, please don't freak if it takes me awhile to 'pull' everyone into the team and get you to the Compound. With 8 others, that's alot of people-collecting. :p If you have any ideas of perhaps meeting up with each other perhaps it would expediate the process but I'll leave it up to ya'll.

Well Georgina's trying to hook up with Denial right now, and keep him safe in her apartment. And I assume Net is going to have to take several trips - unless he's got a real big car...

I`m not sure which model camaro Net drives but with a little squeezing five people should be possible...of course Net could also ask or tell Demolisher to grab the cab he drives and follow...:p

Some of us could also be team members all ready. That would be a good solution to having us all come in one by one.

Good ideas.

Net can pick up the three of ya'll that have already been written into his vicinity, while a couple of others could 'show up' for assignment back at The Compound and get the low-down from ANGEL. It would make sense that I'd have at least met/known a couple of people I could call in the easy way. :) Rather than the slower, more difficult recruitment process that he is doing now.

Heh! Looks like that, if Net needed it, Force-X have a crash house - Georgina's apartment! There are already three of us in there, and it's only day 2!

However withh Miss Shaw deal with all these men around if she wants to get changed.....

Day 2?

For me it's day 1. The RP thred started in my morning, and now it is evning on the same day.

Sentry (non-mutant, non-living? lol)

:p :p :p

Pronounced Deceaced doesn't mean that he's actually dead, but if you were to look him up in some data base like DMV or National Credit Listing, then he shows up as 'deceased' with no current information.

I have any idea, if you all agree I'll add it.

Denial has spider like abilies and I've been thinking to maybe add another spider power, web.

Not like Spiderman, but like can spit web out of his mouth. In the movie "8 legged freaks" some of the spiders do it. Like when that spider was trapping that girl in her room.
This web is nothing like Spidermans web, like he cant use it toi swing around buildings, it's like a spray kinda thing. It wouldn't add a huge adventage either, as the webbing isn't strong like Spidermans. The webbing is about as strong as rope.

I also might make his face a little more hairy by adding thick eye-brows.

Thoughts?

Hey, I like it man! If I recall, the Man-Spider could do something similar - but I could be wrong...

When Spider-man had the web throwers, he had nozzles on the spray, which made it possible for him to shoot long ropes that he swings on, or fat webs in order to catch things and whatnot.

In fact, one episode had him falling off one of the Goblin Flyers, in the middle of the river, and he had nothing to web onto. So, he created this parachute out of fine webbing that he sort of laced together....

Even he was surprised when it worked.

I don't have a problem, so long as you don't rely on it too much. Seems like that kind of thing, you could just web all the bad guys, and be done with it.

Agreed.

Sorry for the slowness of my postings all. I just reformated my home machine and installed XP-Pro last night. Finally got the last of the kinks worked out (I hope). I'd post some while I was at school... but I doubt they'd appreciate the location of this forum. :p

Now if I could only do something about this mountain of homework I've let pile up... Oh well, it will keep for an hour or two more while I take a break and catch up here.

This web wouldn't be used much, as it wouldn't be that strong. Itwould be just weak enough to break with bare hands.

It is basicaly just a thing to make him be more like a spider. Wall crawling and jumping sounds more like a frog. Although there is a few kinds of Spiders that can jump.

I would use the webbing for like hanging things with and for like a bridge to clim on.

I discovered a little interesting tidbit of info about Cyclops' optic blasts this weekend. And seeing how to one of our players has optic blasts, I figured it applied.

The reason Cyclops can't control his blasts without his visor is because he suffered head trauma as a child. So unless Demolisher had suffered a similiar trauma, he probably would have control over his blasts. Just sharing.

Updating char
Code ame: Arko

Real name: Denial O'Neal

Nationality: Australian

Age: 22

Appr: Standing at 6'3", short dark brown hair, thick long eye-brows, brown eyes, medium build as he has done some working out since he got to the USA. He has hairy hands and feet which gives him his wall climbing. He often doesn't wear shoes or anything that covers his feet our hands mostly because it is a little painful, not to mention he need the hair for wall climbing. He also wears glasses for reading, and that is alot as he loves to read. His clothes are mostly a black long-sleve shirt, and long black jeans.

Bio: Duing High school, Denial accidently had a large spider attack a class-mate, that was a pure accident as Denial didn't know he could communicate with spiders. He spent some time trying things out, and learnt he could talk to spiders by thinking, yet they haven't communcated back, so it's a one-way thing.

One day he climbed a wall, and was seen doing it, Denial kind of was freaking out, as he felt like the thing he realy hates - spiders.
Denial was classed us a freak and was sent overseas by his family to get help. He even wanted to be 'cured' of the mutation due to Denial's hate for Spiders. As time grew on he started to get used to being a freak and started to feel like he should help other mutents:

Powers: Can spit some Webbing, Wall climbing, can connmunicate with spiders, he has little agility and can jump 3 times that of a normal humam.

Misc: The name Arko symbolisies his Arachnophobia.

That's interesting, I didn't know that.

Was that when the plane went down with him and Alex (Havoc) in it? Or some other trauma.

*l* Those Summers boys... They were messed up lads from the get-go...

Probably that plane crash. I don't know what happened exactly. It was a trivia question in the X-Men Legends game for X-Box. Which, by the way, is off the hook.

I was aware that a headtrauma caused Scott`s inability to control his opticblasts and while Demolisher doesn`t have that and due to his powers would heal up from it if gotten, his opticblasts are somewhat diferent from Cyclops' blasts in the fact they`re heatbased and not concussive like the ones Cyclops has. sides, if we go up against sentinels, do we get the big old Shaw industries marks 1 through 3 or the cyborg mark 4`s?I`m just curious in which era the rpg is at so I don`t accidentally screw it up with info that could possibly happen later if we`re saaay..before the dallas incident where the roster of X-Men were assumed dead and relocated to the Reavers base in australia.
