actually, I guess I have to love it. I have nothing to compare it to. I have a couple of friends that swear by macintosh, but I've never got to use one.

Given their stability, and their relative security compared to PCs, it still surprises me that Apple hasn't brought the prices down on their machines. They could grab an enormous section of the market if they did.

ETA: They are also quite powerful. Almost all of the high-end computer generated effects that you see in movies are done on Macs, as is most high-end sound editing. I wish I could afford one.
