part 11 of the China Pearl Inn

Yes we have been around for at least 20 years and a bit longer. Many excellent writers and friends have passed through the Old China Pearl Inn. And yes all are still welcome.
 
The day is damp and chilly . The skies are broody and leaden. Yet a fire merrily dances on the hearth bring cheer and warmth.

G'day to any who may be about and to those that hide in the shadow. Come in spot by for a moment or two and enjoy a drink and some conversation.
 
Peeks in through the windows, seeing the warm fire lit and smile as the scent brought back memories. Slowly creeping through the tiny window and make my way down to the fire. Smiling more when I catch CG's scent, curling up in his favorite chair to watch the fire.
 
Morning pretty little one it has been a while sense I have seen you........So what have you been up to young lady? As you can see things are a bit slow around here lately.

I have been getting ready for the holidays, getting ready for to do some decorating the Inn.
 
I've been working on my emotions and life in general. Been doing my best to take care of hubby, he has his good /bad days and most make me feel helpless. Also, been trying to get this job gig that I got myself into up and moving.. I'm failing at it big time right now.. my fault tho, stupid anxiety issues keep getting in the way.. /sigh.. I'm pushing thru it tho. Have a plan and forcing myself to move forward.

How has life been treating you?
 
Me Kat I am slowly falling apart. My right hip is a bit wanky like my heart. But all things considered I'll pull through if the creek don't rise. ;)
 
Hugs my sweet wolf... I think we are all falling apart! Cold weather doesn't help much either.... Well, it's helping me right now haha.. dang female issues!! It's been fairly rough on the hubby too. Wish I could make things better for you and him! Silly fairy dust doesn't work in the human realm tho. /pouts..
 
Kat your magical fairy dust does wonderful things and has brought both joy and laughter to the Inn, but I fear that even it has its limitations in this insistence case.

As always we can only take each day as it comes and make the best of it that we can Kat. ;)
 
Leaden skies, a persistent, dampness, marks the day. Yet a blazing fire on the hearth does its best to brighten the day.

Well I am pleased you found your way back. I trust things are better for you. I have just been puttering around and doing some writing though one of my writing partners has gone AWOL.
 
Walks in and takes a seat at the bar, ordering up a rum and coke while looking about. Morning all.
 
Morning! I call as I mix a potent rum and coke.
So how have you been? I trust the road has been kind to you.
 
Well... been about the same.... long and unchanging. A few of my writing partners have dropped off the map so I am back at the rebuilding phase. Yourself?
 
I hear ya... I gets a bit frustrating when you get some great stories going.
 
For a change the day dawns clear and bright. There is still a chill in the air but a fire on the hearth lends a pleasant warmth to the day.
