Well. I could call it something that would be unladylike coming out of my mouth but I'll just say muggy and very warm. At least, it isn't rain. Tonight we're off to another concert. This one is for Dryfter. I don't know the band. I believe we were out of the country when they came on the scene. It's the Gin Blossoms and Toad and the Wet Sprocket. The opening band, their name? Struck me as weird but hey so long as the music's good, I'm down.
 
A weather you can wear is it Cait. So far we have not had to deal with humify.
You have become quite the concert goer?

Really?? I haven't heard of Toad in years, they used to be great!!
 
Hey, Strange will be glad to hear that Toad the Wet Sprocket wasn't all that bad. I enjoyed the music from both bands last night. Not exactly my cup of tea and not exactly my favorite concert but I enjoyed myself before we had to leave a little early because a storm was rolling in.
 
Ha ha!! Sounds like they've weathered better than some then, glad you had a good time.
RL is giving me a bad time again, and I rarely get to do more than lurk in corners, but I am still about 😎.

They've done alright, I think. The Gin Blossoms front man was saying that a long time ago, they opened for Toad and Saturday night, Toad opened for them. It was a good night. I also enjoyed listening to Vertical Horizon. I didn't really care for the light show the Gin Blossoms put on. Too much for me. Like I mentioned, I was not familiar with Toad or with the Gin Blossoms. I might have been out of country when they were popular.

Well, I hope RL lets up on you, Strange. We all deserve a break and good to know you're floating around in the ether somewhere. :cool:

CG, how's the weather treating you? We're in for thunderstorms and rain this afternoon. At least the temps are bearable.
 
Cait the weather here is like a yoyo high temps one day then low or moderate temps on the next. We are in a very dry wave at present.

Well, last evening we had a bit of excitement. We were notified on our phones to seek shelter away from windows and go the basement if we had one. Our city sirens went off and about an hour or two later, went off again. All of a warning about a possible tornado. The rain really came down for a couple of hours then it cleared up. The rain stopped and the sun came out. Crazy stuff.
 
That it is Cait. I have been lucky in not being in an area where tornados are not common.

I always try to, CG. We came through it just fine although today I learned a tornado was closer than I would have liked.
 
One story is going quite well with a talented and imaginative writer. Some others get sporadic responses Cait.

well, at least they aren't dead. As for mine, they're going very well. The guys keep me busy, that's for sure.
 
He drops another finished post in the submission tube and then walks to the bar.

Could I do bacon and eggs with some biscuits and maybe some coffee?

All is well Jack. Bacon and biscuits? perhaps a little biscuits and gravy on the side Jack?

Just checking up on you, CG. Dryfter just celebrated his birthday on Friday so we had friends over and I had things to do.

My writing is doing good, well except for one of my co-writers. Apparently, I wasn't what he was looking for. Oh well. I also have a co-writer who's gone for a bit. I'm really enjoy writing with him and Jack. I owe Jack a post and need to find some quiet time around here to get it done.

Now, I'm off to make a batch of spaghetti sauce from tomatoes collected in our garden. Then it's hopefully on to making sugar cookies.
