part 11 of the China Pearl Inn

I take Cait's glass my hand brushes her.

OH! Cait, I fear I gave you five fingers of Irish instead of four fingers............bad me, can you forgive me?

Me get you drunk and out of your clothes............never Cait! I know you are a good gal.

Well, I finished another chapter in our story, wrote a long one for my other roleplay, and I'm working on another long-running roleplay story with another friend, which is in letter form. That's been fun. So I hope you like what I wrote, and you're well.

I will try to get you something in the next day or two, JH. I have a list of things I need to get done first although I'm starting to feel like a squirrel. Hopping around doing this and that and feeling like I'm not accomplishing a single thing.

*blows a  to CG and disappears into the ether, muttering...*

Me? A good girl? *laughter follows*

The image of Cait as a lovely little squirrel with a bushy tail brings a wicked smile to my lips.

Jack it sounds like you're a very busy guy with your writing. In a time, past I would have five or six stories going at a time. It was hectic at times but oh was it enjoyable. ;)

HEY NOW! You stop that. Little squirrel with a bushy tail, indeed. *mutters as she goes to pour a cup of coffee*

Walking into the Inn early, he puts the coffee on, looks around for the chef, finds the broom, and begins sweeping the front stoop.

Rubbing the sleep from my eyes I head down to the Inn's common room in search of coffee. I absently wave to Jack as I head for the coffee pot to pour a mug of coffee.

Morning Jack, I see you have got the Inn speck and span and looking good.

Looking up, realizing he swept, mopped, cleaned the bathrooms, and washed all the dish towels. Ah, yes, it appears I have.

He goes over, pours himself a large coffee, and adds milk.

he snickers quietly sitting in a dark corner, a glass of whiskey swirling in his hand
her ears twitch and she glares into the darkened corners of the Pearl as if searching it for something or someone.

You have to admit Cait it seems to be a captivating picture!

A wicked smile bows my lips, a teasing wink.
She growls softly at CG.

"No, it is not."

Yea darlin, the man has a point he chuckles
You hush, Wolfie. You're not helping matters at all.

I leave out a bowl of peanuts for Cait's squirrel
Et tu? Good grief.

Salt or unsalted Jack?...........Seeing its Cait I think salty is more to the point. ;)
You wound me CG. *sighs dramatically*

Okay, so now that we're moving along.... How was everyone's weekend? I spent most of it in bed, unfortunately. Migraine. Bad one. However, all is well now and I have things to see to. I just popped in to say hi, snag a cup of coffee and I'm off and running. It is Monday after all.

*glares at the Wolfikins.* As for you Wolfie, don't tempt me to put your tail in the paper shredder. *snort*

I am glad to see that you're in a better mood Cait, and that things are looking better for you. ;)

But putting a kindly wolf's tail in the shredder is a bit drastic! A touch of the Irish for young morning coffee Cait?

But of course, CG. That would be lovely. As for the wolf. You don't know him like I do. He would deserve it.

I pour a couple of fingers of Irish into Cait's coffee.

That may be true Cait but there is just something wrong about a bob tailed wolf. A great look for slinky cats but a wolf needs his great bushy tail.

I ponder the look of a bob tailed Logan and it brings a wicked smile to my lips.

He chuckles darkly eyes flashing amber as he watches her

Feigned Innocence "hey, i would not!!! Ive been nothing but sweet to you!!". Bats amber puppyeyes

His glare sharpens as he looks to the older wolf ill shave you bald old man, hairless wolf does not a sexy male make his voice only half joking but a glint of amusement in his eyes

The morning greets me with a swirling mist, its ghostly fingers seeming to claw at the gables of the Inn, and cobbled courtyard. A day for coffee, with a touch of brandy.

Morning to any who, may be about. and to those who hide in the shadows. come on in and enjoy some coffee and conversation.
